Hi everyone! We have another great week coming up! A warm welcome to all of the new members, both paid and free! Thank you so much for choosing to be here. 🥰 If you don't know, you can browse through my entire reaction library (edits and watchalongs) on my website: kaiielle.com.

I am less than a month away now from a bunch of time off. For the month of April, I'm only around for the third week of it. With that said, I'm working hard to ensure that there will be minimal interruption during the time I'm gone, for both Patreon and YouTube. Throughout March, you'll see early access to edits trickle in that will release during my time off.

⭐ On the YouTube Channel:

Mon: Dark S1 E7

Tue: Jojo Rabbit (2019)

Thu: Parasite (2019)

Fri: Breaking Bad S2 E7+8

Edits above are subject to copyright and may end up having delays as a result of that.

🐦 Patreon Early Birds + Higher

On Tuesday, I will share a Patreon poll for a movie reaction that will go out in August. Still not sure of a theme yet, kind of flipping back and forth between some options!

And Early Access to the edits for:

Mon: Jojo Rabbit (2019)

Mon: Parasite (2019)

Mon: Breaking Bad S2E9 + 10

Wed: Awakenings (1990)

Thu: 12 Angry Men (1957)

Sat: Dark S2 E1

Sun: Breaking Bad S2 E11 + 12

🎬 Patreon Movie Watchers + Higher:

Wed: Secret Invasion Eps 1 - 3 Watchalongs [MCU Phase 5]

Thu: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (1966) Watchalong - the Classic Western Patreon Poll winner!

Fri: Secret Invasion Eps 4 - 6 Watchalongs [MCU Phase 5]

Fri: March Member of the Month Draw

📢 Remember to get your movie pick(s) in for March's Member of the Month draw. ⭐ The deadline is end of day Thursday March 6 and the draw takes place Friday March 7.

📺 Patreon TV Insiders:

🎮 Twitch Streams:

All start at 18:00 MST. These playthroughs are being uploaded to the Games with KL YouTube channel. I am behind a bit on edits, but determined to catch up this week.

Tue: Red Dead Redemption 2

Wed: Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Thu: Red Dead Redemption 2

Fri: Dragon Age: The Veilguard

I will likely be responding to comments on reactions a lot later than I normally would throughout March, but any time that you get the "heart" reaction from me on your comments, it means that I have read them fully. 😊

Did anyone watch the Oscars last night? I didn't, because The Poppies were better! 😉 I had fun being part of the presenters this year and helping behind-the-scenes! It's always a big thing to look forward to every year! And we had a bunch of reaction channels present that never had before.

Have a great week! 🥰 Thank you for being here!

Love the new art style! Very cool. Reminds me of the Now Showing/Coming Soon ads some theaters do! I recorded the Oscars. Going to watch them tomorrow with mom. That's kind of been a tradition but dad tends to do everything in his power to ruin the evening that we started recording and watching later. I hope you're able to rest while you're away next month, you deserve it! Looking forward to Secret Invasion. I enjoyed it a lot. Which also makes me think The Marvels is the next movie? So excited for that one too for whenever that's planned! Hope you have a wonderful day and week, may the gods and universe bless you

I have a lot to say about what Secret invasion should have been. Looking forward to your reactions.

Ray H

Secret Invasion 😣

William

I’m SUPER excited for The Marvels as well, though we probably shouldn’t discuss that here. 🤫😉 Still, I f**king adore that movie.

William

Have a good week, Kaiielle!

Arti

Secret Invasion gets a lot of hate, but I truly enjoyed it. More than She-Hulk, Agatha, Echo and Hawkeye IMO

CheshireKat528

L.A. Confidential is a favorite! Looking forward to seeing what you think! Have a great week!

Johnata Olivera

Yeah… I’ll save my comments for that when we get there…

Tyler Foster

Excited for LA Confidential and GBU! Also hoping KBv2 is coming up...perhaps next week?

Movies with KL

I planned all of March and April and left KBV2 out, due to simple forgetfulness. Now to decide which movie to move.

Tyler Foster

Well, at least I mentioned it!

Also, a note about The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: There are two cuts of this movie. However, unlike many movies with multiple cuts, the longer cut (179 minutes) ended up becoming more widely available, as it was released on a better DVD, and that master seems to have been used by default on most streaming services. It's only recently that the original theatrical cut (162 minutes) has been made more widely available. In this case, the shorter version is hypothetically preferable -- the consensus seems to be that director Sergio Leone turned in the 179 minute cut, saw it at the premiere, and then decided he should trim it down to the shorter version that played in the US -- but of course, the longer version is going to be the more available one. Because the longer version was considered the default cut for a long time, it's likely that streaming services won't even tell you that you are watching one cut or the other, it will simply be the only copy of the movie that's available to watch. For that reason, worth remembering to say in the reaction how long the version you're watching is.
