Chernobyl: Vichnaya Pamyat [Ep 5] ✦ Watchalong Reaction & Review (Patreon)

And here we are at the end! This episode was everything I had hoped it would be. A long runtime and focused on the politics of this all, and we got to finally get an understanding of how things happened.

This was an incredible mini-series and I already can't wait to rewatch it someday (though I will fast forward through all the dog scenes when I do). Incredible acting. Jared Harris was definitely my favourite performance, but mainly because I had only seen him in The Expanse prior to this, and what WILDLY different portrayals those were. 😂 I always love the chance to see an actor's range.

Please enjoy this reaction and I'm looking forward to your comments! If you'd like, leave comments below linking to videos or any books about Chernobyl that you'd recommend. [Direct link here.]
