I'm simply in the mood for this type of movie, that's all. 😊

This poll will be open until end of day Sunday in my timezone. Happy Voting and thank you! ❤️

Okay, only nine votes, but c'mon Children of Men...need a come-from-behind rally! (Not that I mind Escape From New York.)

Dan

GATTACA!

Dan

But also I get Total Recall being higher. Someday, GATTACA...

Chris Elkins

Escape from New York I was thinking about it last night due to an iconic video game character that was inspired by the main character.

Nestor Custodio

Probably both too recent, but shout out to 2013's Elysium and 2023's The Creator.

Nathan Jasper

Children of Men or Gattaca, It's so hard to decide. I love them for wildly different reasons but they are both equal achievements in storytelling IMO.

HugoBoss435

I gotta go with Snake Pliskin! (Escape from New York) My 2nd runner up would be Total Recall though — Arnold in his prime.

I really liked Children of Men the first time I watched it. The second time I watched it I felt it was the best movie I’d seen in a long time. I think it’s the best movie this century. Escape From New York will be fun too, but it would be great if Children of Men rallies.

Total Recall & Gattaca are so good! Watched them in class when I was high school

MichaelA

Surprised it's so equal. Thought one would run away with it personally. They are all very different though, polls like that can make it difficult to choose.

Tyler Foster

I don't know what's going on but right now it's showing 8 votes and 0% for CoM in the app!

Tyler Foster

OK I can see the real votes on the website. Glad it's at least putting up a good fight. C'mon Gattaca voters. Bail on your movie because it's in last place, and come support CoM.

Vincent Hollow

Hmmm, do I go with Children of Men or lean into more of John Carpenter/Kurt Russell filmography? This is a tough call.

Tyler Foster

Oh, dang it. Children of Men pulling ahead of Escape From New York, but then Total Recall pulling ahead of both. Would like to go back to EFNY winning in that case...

Sam

These are all worthy dystopian movies—Total Recall being clearly the best of a great bunch :)—but, I would highly recommend Turbo Kid if you're ever in the mood for a super cool dystopian film to watch in future.
