Turk Barrett cannot catch a break. I still can’t believe this guy portrays a cop in Stranger Things. That’s so funny. As far as cars go, I wouldn’t buy American. I’d rather buy eco-friendly. Oh by the way, Thunderbolts will be finally available on Disney Plus tomorrow (or I should say tonight).

Oh man how have I never put that together that it's the same actor. I've even been rewatching Stranger Things in prep for the final season haha. And yes, Thunderbolts will be one of next week's releases.

Held off on Lewis comments last time because I was waiting for you to see how the show gives him more context. Yes, he feels unsafe at home, and yes, there is a scary scene when a live bullet flies at his father. And yes, he is so horrified about that specific knee-jerk reaction but also his father is so comforting and loving. Yes, he feels safer in a foxhole. Yes, he applies and impresses people who could send him back to a place where things make sense. Yes, they refuse him. Yes, he gets upset. Right now, Punisher season 1 episode 4, Resupply, I really wish I could help Lewis. Other than that, I absolutely love how long all of these takes last and how many emotions or how different emotions have to happen on the same take. There are some serious character studies here so far.

Complex characters are the best. I'm interested in what they're doing with Lewis.

Always fun seeing Turk. He and Claire are the Coulson's of the Netflix shows. Basically both make appearances in multiple shows. Feel bad for Lewis. Not much to say but Madani now knows Frank is alive.

So...you brought up the eye contact with Lewis...PTSD is an acquired neurodivergence and ND folks on the whole aren't great with eye contact. Specifically in PTSD, it can trigger the fight-or-flight response (which is already overactive) so they tend to avoid it (which can lead to a more rapid breakdown of relationships/difficulty in forming new ones because neurotypical folks tend to view a lack of eye contact as a sign of dishonesty or disinterest)
