Hi everyone! Remember that war movie poll I put out back in July, where I had tossed a list of movies into Wheel of Names and just drew four of them for the poll? It was the poll that Apocalypse Now won. I took that list to make a new poll out of and I also added a film that was recommended in the comments on that poll - thank you Dorran for the suggestion!

You can vote for multiple options and I would encourage you to do so!

My November war movie plans for the channel are the winner of this poll, Apocalypse Now, and one other movie which came through as a Reactr request this month. And I will be watching Band of Brothers (fiiiiinally!), which will begin appearing on Patreon next week.

Happy Voting! This poll will conclude on Sunday, Oct 19 at the end of day in my timezone.

Oof. There are some tough watches in here. 🫣

Throwing out 2005's "Joyeux Noel" for the next time a war movie poll comes up. Not likely to get many (any?) votes, but I'd be doing the world a disservice if I didn't bring it up.

I've kinda dipped out of war movies awhile ago, but I'd happily watch a reaction to Platoon or The Pianist if one of them happens to do well here. 🙂

Emily

Ahhh I need more reactions to ministry of ungentlemanly warfare, it's soooo good! I had my mom watch it and she's not usually a war movie person to my knowledge and she liked it too!

Death Lego

I can't emphasise emphatically enough, how much I agree with this . 😁

Lots of good ones. 1917 was the best one in a long time for me. Great direction by Sam Mendes, solid acting, and nice score by Thomas Newman. Beautiful art direction and cinematography. Might be the best war movie for people who don't like war movies that much.

Chris Thom

Gotta be one of the most truly heroic stories I've ever seen or heard.
