Some wonderfully cute and laugh-out-loud moments in this episode! But certain attitudes are making me nervous too. 😖

Enjoy! Looking forward to your comments.

P.S. Had to re-upload, as I missed including the timer and the blurred episode! Oops!

I love this episode, and lots of theories there! I did notice that the sync clock and blurred thumbnail were missing. It doesn’t look like that was intentional since your “sync” watermark appeared over nothing. 😉

Characters from season 2 and 3 Kreel and Strucker make reappearances. Quinn and Raina get named dropped and Cybertek from season 1 as well . Cute Fitzsimmons and Deke moments and call backs to season 1 and getting dropped in the ocean.

I always use the previously on Coulson voice to sync up lol never need the timer.

Sorry Ann, I had hidden those to be able to get a screenshot of myself for the thumbnail and then forgot to bring them back for the render. 🫠 I will fix that and replace the link in the post.

I do the same, but sometimes one or the other video will buffer. No issues this time.

The name of the boat is also a reference to Sir Issac Newton book the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica or principia for short. It is a book on law of motion and universal gravitation.

Bit of a quieter episode this time, but still moving the plot along. The scene of the Zephyr flying up to the ship floating in the sky is a low-key favourite of mine, primarily because of the music cue leading up to it - it's got an epic vibe to it, and a degree of wonder and hopefulness that stands out from the season so far - though, I must admit I do find the 'seen it all before' attitude of everyone on the team quite amusing as well. Whilst I understand that Coulson has seemingly made his peace with dying, I think he's being optimistic if he thinks the team (other than Yo-Yo, who has reason not not) are just going to accept that - especially Daisy, who just last episode told him that he is her foundation. It's also a tad hypocritical when he himself was willing to do whatever it took to save her after she was shot by Quinn back in 1x13, even to the point of subjecting her to (at least some of) what he went through being brought back from the dead the first time. Fitz's annoyance with Deke is kinda amusing knowing the history - parts of their personalities aren't all that different from each other, which is likely part of it. With your point about Deke being thrown into a different world like the team was when sent to the future, something to consider is that Fitz didn't really have that experience - he knew in advance that he was going to the future, and had Enoch to help bring him up to speed, meaning he doesn't have the reference to empathise with what it's like for Deke. Bringing back Werner is a interesting choice - didn't seem like there would be anything more to do with that character post S3, but giving him a eidetic memory as a result of Lincoln zapping him whilst in the memory machine is a neat way of giving him a purpose. It's a little unclear if Ruby is actually resentful of her mother, or just manipulative - maybe a bit of both? Regardless, that definitely seems like it's building to something. No need to apologise for a longer outro - nothing wrong with a good 'ramble'!

What I remember from future Yo-Yo talking to her past self was that she was trying to think of something to say to herself that she hadn't remember hearing before and that's the reason why she just kept it simple about saving Coulson. She was trying to do things differently than she remembered. Maybe she remembered herself being super detailed about it and she thought, "Well, that didn't change anything. OK, all you need to know is Coulson's dying and you have to let him." That's what was sticking in my mind about that conversation, that she was struggling to think of something different to say.

The floating Principia reminds me of the Red Room in Black Widow. I like the concept, but it just makes no sense. That thing would show up on radar and various geo-surveying satellites and be detected and a huge deal within days if not hours. No chance it remains undetected for years. I like your theorizing on where this season is going!
