Congratulations to Chad Jenkins, who won the March Member of the Month draw. Chad submitted the four movies below for a poll - thank you! Voting will be open until end of day Tuesday. This is a one-vote poll. Enjoy!

Would be happy with most of these, but I think the one I'm rooting for here is October Sky. One of the first times I saw it, I was disappointed because the book it's based on is so much richer, but on later viewings I came to accept it as a good movie anyway.

Sharpgirl

I've never seen Frequency. I just peaked at the summary and it looks SO GOOD

Congrats Chad. That's an interesting mix. I like it. I haven't seen Frequency since it was in theatres and I kind of forgot it existed, so this would be a great excuse for a re-watch, but I am a big October Sky fan. I think it's wonderful and under-rated, though I concede that I am maybe more susceptible to Joe Johnston's Joe Johnstoness than a lot of people.

Rhiannon

OMG I haven't watched An American Tail in years - I LOVE that movie.

Vincent Hollow

YASSSSS!!!! AN AMERICAN TAIL!!!! LET'S GET IT!!!! I'll honestly be happy with any of these, Bridge of Spies is the only one I haven't seen, but I just can't say no to more Don Bluth!

Nathan Jasper

Good picks here! Any one of them winning would be fine with me!

Chad Jenkins

Yea, I'm not sure why Don Bluth films are so under the radar for reactors

Chad Jenkins

I was trying to think of movies that I love, but for whatever reason not a lot of people are reacting to

Chad Jenkins

Frequency is one of the more random stories of how I found out about it. Watched it in a class in high school. Not sure what that says about the school system, but there ya go. We did discuss the film a bit, but mostly it was just for fun

Vincent Hollow

I'd say it has a lot to do with Disney and/or Pixar (and DreamWorks Animation, to an extent with the Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon franchises) pretty much dominating the algorithm because they put out multiple films a year whereas Don has only really made a handful that are more or less "hidden" classics of their time.

I voted October Sky but also very much like Bridge of Spies. Both awesome.
