Thank you so much to Brad for sending this movie through as a Reactr request! Michael Douglas sure looks like his dad, doesn't he? 😂 Fun to see another young Martin Sheen flick! Enjoy the reaction and I'm looking forward to your comments below!

Yes, Europe is in the house...After taking the time to read this I may have spoken too soon. But I will probably watch this weekend because I haven't seen it in years.

Bidda-bee-bee, bidda-beebeebee, bidda-bee-bee, bidda-beebeebeebooboo...never seen this one, just came here to do that (a song...that I loathe...but could not help myself from bidda-beeping).

Did seeing the Senator make you want to ‘dance a little sidestep’? Same actor was in ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas’ (1982)

My grandfather was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He wasn't there for D day but he did live in Hawaii for almost 28 years after her retired from Hughes Aircraft until he passed away. My grandmother came back to the mainland and finished off her life in Wine country Sebastopol California. I went to Hawaii as a kid. Eaten alive by mosquitoes. Isn't your name Hawaiian Kaiielle ?

kaiielle isn't my real name! Just a chosen spelling of K and L for a username which are the initials of my first and middle name.

I finally had the chance to watch the movie with you tonight. I enjoyed it when it came out in 1980, though I think I first saw it at the drive-in. Coincidentally, I was listening to an episode of The Martin Sheen Podcast the day you posted, and Charlie Sheen joined him in the studio. This movie was mentioned as Charlie was on the USS Nimitz while they filmed, and he remembered that. What’s funny for me is that the most memorable line for me was “you have a 40-year-old dog here.” 😂
