Thanks Clay for the suggestion. I decided to pick Best Picture winners for movies released during the years that the first six Star Wars movies released... with the exception of 1999 because I've already seen American Beauty before starting reactions so I picked the winner for the year before (as Gladiator is on my long/short list).

Multiple votes are allowed for this one. The poll will close at end of day on Wednesday in MDT.

Happy Voting!

Terms of Endearment is my only vote. Some of the other movies on this list should’ve never won Best Picture in my opinion.

Bryan Dempsey

Terms of Endearment. Because I own the blu ray and I love the musical score.

Miles is Editing

The fact that Crash lost against Brokeback Mountain is one of the biggest flops in Oscar history. Dont even know why Crash was nominated

Tyler Foster

Chicago has been on my list of potential Reactr picks for awhile, so I'll be thrilled if it keeps its lead!

Sharpgirl

I'm so thrilled and humbled to have won the May Spin movie. I know I can't enter the June spin but at least I can participate in the polls like these😺 (I'm looking forward to June's winner and what they will bring)

Michael Keenan

Terms the wof Endearment. Because the script writing was only eclipsed by the acting. “Do you want to come over to look at my Renoir”?

DarthChef

I agree with some of the other comments, sometimes the Academy did not always pick the best movie from certain years. I chose Ordinary People and ToE.

Chris Thom

Whoops. Voted for all of them. Lol

Nathan Jasper

Because topical beats controversial every time in the Academy's eyes.
