‼️ ATTN: iOS APP USERS

Apple will charge 30% more on my prices if you use the Patreon app to pay for membership or products in the Shop.

The 30% doesn't come to me, and it doesn't go to Patreon to help them with their app development. Apple charges it just because they can.

Apple also holds your funds for a really long time before sending it to Patreon and then to me. When you pay through iOS, I receive that money a whopping 75 days later. 😢

Please don't pay more when you don't have to! Here's how:

When purchasing from the Shop, always use the browser on your device to do this.

If you have already paid for a membership in the iOS app, then you will need to make some changes to prevent it on your next charges:

Open the iOS app and process a cancellation of your membership to my page

Wait until your membership has expired. Set a task/reminder for that date.

Visit Patreon on your desktop or mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) and go to my Patreon page. Re-subscribe to the membership.

Continue using the Patreon iOS app for viewing/commenting and feel happy knowing that you're paying what you should be!

If you haven't paid for a membership yet, please do that through a desktop or mobile browser, not the Patreon iOS app. You can still use the iOS app to access your benefits after paying.

I'm interested in buying one of your Reaction Collections instead of joining the membership. What do I receive when I buy a Collection?

You will receive access to all of the posts within a Collection at the time of your purchase, in addition to all reactions that are added to it in the future (when that applies). Most Collections that aren't completed are already priced with this in mind.

Note: when I'm currently watching the first or only season of a TV series, the Collection usually won't be listed for purchase until I am one or two episodes away from sharing the finale.

My watchalong reactions are hosted on YouTube and direct links are provided in the posts.

What will I get access to as a free member of your page?

My "Coming This Week" posts that are shared every weekend, my YouTube edits once they are live on YouTube, the occasional announcement that I share for everyone, and even a live stream here and there!

You will also be notified when I have added posts and Collection to my Shop.

What happens when I cancel my membership?

You will be asked if you want to remain connected to this community as a free member after your membership ends. I recommend doing this if you would like to stay informed about what's coming next, but it's certainly not required. You will retain access to your paid membership until your expiration date.

You are able to complete an Exit Survey. I see the responses, but they are anonymous so I can't see who left them. Feel free to write a personal message instead of picking one of the provided responses.

⭐ If you are cancelling due to an issue with Patreon and it's not due to me or my content, please send me a direct message about this so that we can work on fixing it. I have had members cancel in the past over issues that could have been solved quickly. I have direct access to Patreon Staff through my membership in the Patreon Creator Ambassador Program, as well as being a moderator in the Patreon Creator Community. If any members are experiencing issues that make them cancel their membership, I really want to know about it.

Is it possible to pay more than your highest tier price?

Yes, although I insist that this is completely optional. If you would like to do this, you can do so through the Membership tab on my page. Click the "Edit" icon button (✏️). The dollar amount box will be editable and you can type in any price for your membership that is higher than what my price is. If you do this, thank you so much for doing so!

The posts that I want to access are showing Locked, even though I've paid for the membership. How do I fix this?

The cause for this can be more than one thing. Please ask yourself the following:

Are you using a VPN? It is a common experience that these affect access to posts. If you have one enabled, please disable it and refresh your Patreon. If posts are still showing as Locked, complete a cache and cookie clearing in your browser settings and then log back in to Patreon. If the VPN is the issue, these steps should resolve that. I've had members experience this in the past and these steps worked for them.

Did you accidentally join a lower tier of mine than doesn't have the benefits that you're looking for? You can upgrade your tier in your Membership settings.

Was your membership payment declined? Patreon won't unlock the posts until your payment is successful. The most common causes of declines are insufficient funds with your chosen payment method, or your credit card has expired if you're paying with one. Unfortunately, declined payments aren't something that I am able to help you with. Please refer to this article for assistance.

✨ If none of these apply to you, please contact Patreon Support and provide screenshots of your paid membership details and your payment receipt, along with screenshots of your view of my locked posts so that they can assist you. If there is a reaction that you would like to access while you wait, please send me a DM with the same screenshots and receipt that you sent to Patreon Support and let me know what reaction link you would like.

Do you respond to private messages?

I will always respond if you need assistance with something on my Patreon or have any questions about my page, reactions, Reactr, or my Discord server. If you are cancelling and would like to let me know why, I'll respond to that too. 😊

Outside of that, you are still free to send a private message but it is unlikely that I will respond due to time. 🙏🏻 I read every single message that I receive, though!

Can I request a refund on my membership or Shop purchases?

Memberships: if you intended to process a cancellation of your active membership but forgot to, please send me a refund request. I must receive your request within one week of your payment being processed. I will not honour refund requests received after this time. Click here for the steps on how to request a refund.

I will not grant refunds on your very first membership payment. This is because I offer many ways for people to see what my Patreon reactions are like before paying for any of it. I also make it clear in my tier descriptions what you will receive as a paid member.

All other reasons for a refund request are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. You can write a reason to me right in your refund request, or you can send me a DM to discuss your situation prior to requesting.

Shop Purchases: I do not accept refund requests because the reactions are available to you as soon as your purchase goes through. Please ensure to check out one of my Free Watchalong reactions to see what my format is like before you make your purchase.

By being a member here, I ask the following of you:

Do not post spoilers about movies and TV show episodes. While spoilers aren't completely avoidable, I prefer to know as little as possible before watching something as it allows for better reactions. This also includes setting expectations - basically anything that could affect my first-time viewing.

If you'd like to discuss movie spoilers freely with fellow paid Patreon members, please join my Discord server and post whatever you would like in the #spoiled-talk channel that I have set up there

Be kind and respectful. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. is not welcome here and it will result in you being blocked from the community. We can all be critical about movies and shows and share what we don't like about them, but there's no need to be critical towards other Patreon members or harp on them because of how they feel about movies and shows. I like this space to be kept pleasant and fun.

Members who choose to engage here through demonstrating persistent negativity, conflict, and tension with other members will have their membership cancelled. I can only do this by issuing a block of your account. This also applies to free members.

Members may engage in commentary about war and politics on any reactions that I share to movies that are about war and politics, as well as any live streams that I do where I am the one who starts a discussion about it. Politics is embedded into our lives, so I don't ever want discussions about it to be a firm no. But I also don't want it to overtake every conversation, so outside of these instances I ask that political commentary be kept to a minimum or avoided altogether. Thank you.

Comments may be removed at my discretion, even if they don't fit into any of the above reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

📺 HOW TO WATCH ALONG WITH MY REACTIONS:

On a PC using Picture-in-Picture mode:

Firefox has this feature built right into the browser, but if you are using a browser that doesn't have this, you can download a PiP browser extension

You can either have the movie/show collapsed to be placed on top of my reaction, or my reaction collapsed to sit over the movie/show

This method is what I do when watching along with another reactor. I use PiP on my laptop and then connect my laptop to my TV with an HDMI cable so that I can watch it on a larger screen

On a PC using more than one screen:

Place my reaction on one screen and the movie/show on the other

Using two devices:

Put my reaction on one device (like a laptop, tablet, or phone) and the movie/show on the other device (like a PC screen or TV)

⭐ WATCH ALONG SYNC ISSUE:

In some countries, you may notice that the version of the movie that you have access to has a different frame rate to the version that I am watching so things end up out of sync frequently.

To get the movie and reaction synced, you'll have to adjust the speed of my reaction video using a browser extension, such as this one for Google Chrome. My reaction will either need to be set to a speed of 96% or 104%, depending on if my reaction is playing faster or slower relative to the copy of the movie you are watching.
