Upcoming Changes to Tiers (Patreon)

Good morning, and sorry, but you've all given me too much money! You've probably noticed that the Patreon shoutouts in each video have gotten pretty lengthy; as of time of writing, there are 244 Patrons receiving vocal shoutouts, and shoutouts in the most recent video took up about 5 and a half minutes. While I very much appreciate the support, it's reached the point I'm hesitant to make shorter projects; imagine clicking on a 15 minute video and it rolls credits at the 9 minute mark! In order to curb the numbers a bit:

On October 1st 2022 the $5 tier will no longer receive vocal shoutouts, but will instead begin to have access to all video commentaries.

This means that vocal shoutouts will only be done for Patrons at the $10 tier. If you're currently in the $5 tier and still want a vocal shoutout, you will need to change tiers to the $10 one. To make up for that change for anybody who'd prefer not to raise the amount they've pledged, the video commentaries will become available at the $5 tier. I'll also be making a new post collecting all prior posted commentaries to ensure the $5 tier has access to them.

You will still receive vocal shoutouts at the $5 tier in any videos finished before October 1st.

I'll see how this effects the time necessary for shoutouts, and may potentially make more adjustments in the future, but I promise to wait at least a couple months before I announce any more changes.

Additionally, I've made a minor change to the tier benefit writing to make the difference between a written shoutout and a vocal shoutout more clear.
