I love this scene. The way the emotional and physical vulnerability was portrayed was just *chefs kiss*. Rangi allowing Kyoshi to touch her hair, something so sacred to noble fire nation families. Ughh I can’t deal

There is a little bit of symbolism here. The two of them shedding their outer layers of clothing is also them baring pieces of themselves to each other emotionally. First time Kyoshi seeing her without her armor, or “armor”, is also the first time Rangi cries herself to sleep in her chest. F.C. Yee writes them so beautifully. They make me so happy.
