“Drinking? Yeah, drinking in your beauty…”, if Kyoshi were a flirt. Kyoshi rarely looks *UP* at Rangi, and she looks so cute here. Even though she’s exhausted, I hope the sight of Rangi gave her a little energy. 🥹 Contrast between their state of dress and positions in the snow makes Rangi look so capable, or perhaps…dominant.😌 Final details added to this are SO good. The soft glow from the flame, and the Southern Lights over them gives it a…romantic touch. Something I wouldn’t have felt no matter how many times I read this scene. Like I said before, your art really does elevate the experience, filling in gaps with subtle details that result in greater impact. Best. Chef. Ever.🫰

I was kinda bummed that the image in my head wasn't really coming out on canvas well, so thanks a lot for the kind words! This scene is super special and memorable, and I want to take my time and draw it properly, but my skills just aren't good enough yet😩. I'll try to have fun with it anyway. ​ahhh annnnd I love the emotional stuff going on between them in this scene so so so much... oh and I just realized it was Rangi waiting in Kyoshi's tent, not her own. That's so adorable🫠! After Rangi found out the rumors about her mom were true -which she didn't want to believe—and was totally stressed out by those bitter Academy memories she wanted to forget, the person she looked for that night was Kyoshi. It's just too sweet. She probably thought of tons of excuses like, 'you might be scared out here alone'' or 'I want to protect you' thing-y but Kyoshi, being Kyoshi, didn't ask any questions or even seem confused. She was just nervous as it was her first time sleeping next to someone, and she was captivated by Rangi's body—that's just unbearably cute😩🤌🤌🤌

Right here with Rangi's face illuminating by the light of her fire that dances above her finger under the moonlight is a romantic sight that took Kyoshi's breath away that despite being drunk she was also stunned. 😍
