😂😂😂 Your kitty Rangi and Hei-Ran killed me. My heart dropped for Kyoshi when she was having her moment of crisis. Personally, I think this was one of the most ingeniously crafted scenes by F.C. Yee. You have a thoroughly pissed off Rangi, a spiraling Kyoshi going through a heart-wrenching “breakup” in her mind, barely back-from-the-dead Hei-Ran vandalizing the wall…this storm that comes through and disappears just as quickly with an end that just makes you smile. The thing that tickled me the most, however, was the CHOPSTICKS. That was my favorite bit.😂

Hei-ran just survived being killed just to see a lovers quarrel. The look of her face being so over it 😅 just make this scene funnier.

Seriously, the worst but funniest part of that whole thing was that Hei was too injured to move and had to sit there and watch that lesbian reality show from the very front seat. And she couldn't even talk😭! She had to write everything on a chalkboard😭😭😭

Throwing the chopsticks on the floor was probably Rangi's way of saying, 'I haven't forgiven you yet.' That brat...but seriously, Rangi's anger management issues are just hilarious to watch. She mostly seems super calm and collected when dealing with her temper, but when she finally blows up, she tackles it in the most random, unpredictable ways. Like, she'll go to a pit fight just to purposely get herself beat up, or she'll throw a table in the royal court... Poor Kyoshi, hang in there😭

When I think about Hei-Ran in that scene, it's so pitiful yet hilarious. She was forced to watch a lesbian drama and had to calm down a panicking Kyoshi who couldn't breathe... What can you do? She's the one who has a lovely lesbian daughter who's just like her😂

Yeah it is, knowing how her daughter so well, she saw through her tantrum and thought "She doesn't mean it, not one bit" Poor Hei-ran then, she had to see the whole thing unwind without moving or speaking, that must've been uncomfortable to watch.

Rangi, after storming out and seemingly ending their relationship, returns to delivering the meal for Kyoshi. From the book this action reveals her care for the avatar and also the firebender comes from a family of tough love. The fight lasted what minutes until she came back showing the bowl of noodles in Kyoshi's face after the avatar though "nooo please don't leave me". 😅

Also the fact that Kyoshi was so happy to pick them up off the floor and eat with them. I love bratty, angry Rangi’s antics. To other characters (besides Hei-Ran) it might be surprising, but to the reader it is absolutely hilarious…and kind of adorable. Like an angry kitten, trying to be taken seriously. 😂🥹
