Aaaaa YES A battle scene!! True lesbians are forged in the fires of war. And true romance can only be found on a battlefield. When the human body goes through so much, and loses everything. Only to be found again, by your beloved... Warfare is an incredible backdrop, for love to bloom. 💘💘 Mmm i can imagine Rangis fire melting the flesh off bones and blackening corpses. And Kyoshis earth bending dropping large rocks on people and crushing them flat. 🫠🫠 Im sorry if i misunderstood this artwork, because i know nothing about Kyoshi and Rangi. But i do love combat 💘 Maybe Avatars are peaceful or something idk

Absolutely incredible! I can just imagine seeing them animated in this style fighting together so beautifully. The caption reminded me of this artwork of Kyoshi and Rangi as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan getting married in the rain on the ship in the final film. I remember seeing it on Twitter maybe two years ago but can’t find it anymore… anyone know what art I’m talking about?

Chefffff. You’ve really made this piece come to life. One can FEEL the display of power, destruction, and even beauty of the elements they bend. Both characters and elements complement each other so well here, blending together perfectly. It really…flows. Stare a little too long and they might start to move. *shakes head, rubs eyes* This is like…something you’d expect to see as a movie poster or promotion when going to the cinemas. I. Love. It.

I totally agree—fire is such a great aesthetic for lesbians. Since you're new to the Avatar series, I can summarize it for ya. Basically, the Avatar is a guardian between the human and spirit worlds who is reborn in every generation. Even though they share a spirit, they are all unique people. Kyoshi has to use force to keep the peace, but Rangi actually hates killing. Rangi is Kyoshi's bodyguard, teacher, and soulmate who fights to keep her safe while Kyoshi saves the world.
