Sometimes I imagine the smallest sigh escaping Kyoshi in quiet relief as she looks at Hei-Ran through Kuruk's eyes—a faint tide of nostalgia that only deepens her appreciation for the family she's found. I like to think Kyoshi cherishes Hei-Ran not only because she's Rangi's mother, and therefore family by extension, but also out of genuine admiration. You can't spend a lifetime with Rangi without being touched by the profound respect that tigress holds for her mother. And on top of that, I adore that despite how much mother and daughter resemble each other, your art makes their personalities and individual traits instantly recognizable. It's simply 💯✨ .
