I am absolutely loving your obsession with this coming cause we are gonig to have soooooo much good art!!! They look incredible as always! it is so nice to see them in these happy daily life moments 💖 You captured perfectly the whole vibe of the comic! Kyoshi's awe being the first time in her life enjoying a festival and doing so many new things, she was so excited playing the games, I laught a lot when all of a sudden she was like "How do I get one of the big ones now???" And look at Rangi!! she looks so happy and proud! you can see she enjoys soooooooo much showing new things to Kyoshi nad seeing her happy! 💖 Another incredible work of art!! noone should be allowed to draw them except you because noone understands them better!

It was her first festival? 🥺 She looks so in awe, amazed, starstruck... I don't know 💕 it feels like it, and Rangi looks so satisfied that she is enjoying herself, it fills me with such warmth that they are enjoying the time they have to do things out of their duties (and also as a couple) this is such an amazing drawing and so meaningful Marce, thanks 💗

Rangi leading with confident steps while Kyoshi’s holding onto her sleeve and looking around with childlike wonder. It speaks so much about the trust between them. The thought of Rangi giving her everything she’s never had is too precious. Kyoshi missed out on familial love and a “normal” childhood; forced to solely think about survival and distrusting others (until Kelsang). It’s even more meaningful that she can have such an unguarded and innocent expression as an adult and the Avatar. Kyoshi comfortably holding these stuffed animals in contrast to the way she held that clay turtle during the selection ritual is just…😭 Rangi constantly supporting her, not only out of duty, but love.😌 Her home is truly by her side. The warm dusk palette adds to the tenderness of this scene - one that Kyoshi will remember fondly. The bloom from lanterns I like in particular. It reminds me a filter I like to use on the lens of my camera, giving a dreamy cinematic feel. A favorite of mine. The soft amber glow would certainly enhance the bronze of Rangi’s eyes and another moment Kyoshi, surely, would fall in love all over again.🥹 I mean, how could she not? I hope Kyoshi got to eat her fill of takoyaki, it’s so yummy. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job at capturing something so lovely, Chef.🙏

It feels like a dream to finally see their story after the novels, especially getting to watch Kyoshi visit Rangi’s 🏝 I’m so grateful that their personalities and dynamic stayed exactly true to how they were written in the books. ​Even though it took four years after the novels for them to finally visit Rangi’s home, I loved that Rangi didn't say anything about it—as expected of her🥹 She’s always been such a secure and grounded girl friend, just like when they were separated for over a year for Hei-Ran’s treatment and Kyoshi couldn't stay in touch, yet Rangi never held it against her. And also Rangi was the one who brought Kyoshi to the island so she could rest-was so true to that strong and upright character she's always been🥹🥹 ​My thoughts are all over the place, but every single detail was so lovely. Honestly, this one comic alone will feed me for years😇❤️💚❤️💚

I see you haven't read the comic yet! Yes! Rangi took the workaholic Kyoshi to her home island of Sei'naka, where they got to enjoy a festival together. It was actually Kyoshi's very first festival, as she mentioned she never had the money to enjoy things like that when she was a kid😇😭 They're around 22–23 years old at this point, and they're still absolute lovebirds, clinging to each other everywhere they go🥹💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️

I was only able to briefly read through it when I stopped by home one night before continuing on with my trip. So my comments are based on that. I was going to take it with me but it’s sitting on my bed.🥲. But you’re right, it’s SO much more than what I expected them to give us, and it is absolutely heartwarming. I’ll be home tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to being able to slowly enjoy and digest it all.😌 You might be the only one 😂. I’ll see about posting some. :)
