Even in anguish, even in devastation, Asami would be there, ready to defend her wife while she's in what appears to be some form of mind control (at least in this panel). Once again, Korra is forced to fight against her own spirit, forcing the Avatar State out of herself. Free her from all this suffering... 😩 Honestly, I don't know whether the blood splattered across her face is her own or belongs to some unidentified attackers, but I have to admit that the idea of an Asami willing to resort to extreme violence to protect the love of her life is particularly captivating. And ughhhh—wow. Of course the betrothal necklace had to make an appearance, not to mention the elegantly crimson tassels, gathered together to adorn the emblem on Korra’s sash. They're both stunning, and so is your art. Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely gorgeous. ⚙️🌊💕✨

Oh Korra…😢 These ladies truly aged like fine wine. They look so good. Love your lines here, thick and coarse where there is chaos and instability. And your lighting, especially on Korra’s torso is so…SO wonderful🙂‍↕️ Her cloak seems simple and sleek, but zooming in and seeing the subtle intricate patterns is a nice touch. I love it when the characters wear something that indicates they belong to each other. Being the Avatar has to be the shittiest job. Honestly. And how well you get through things and come out the other side really depends on who you have by your side. The loyalty and devotion of their partners are no joke. Asami is the captain of this Avatar Korra vessel, she’s ready to go down with it.

They're a BIG 🌟 that did so much for the progress of sapphic representation in animation. Tganks to Korrasami, we were able to get Catra's kiss scene, and that legacy paved the way for CaitVi in Arcane. Many writers on Arcane are actually Korrasami fans.

I never realized how tragic being chosen by Raava actually was when I was a kid, but man it's so depressing😔 None of the Avatars ever got a peaceful life, right? Korra was probably the same, but I just hope Asami was right there with her until the end. People say Korra might've lived over 200 years, but I'd rather believe she and Asami had the same lifespan and the Avatar cycle got delayed for another reason. Having to outlive your love and go through so much alone for centuries... That kind of tradgy is more than enough with just Kyoshi😔😔😔 p.s. I had no idea you'd notice the cape details! Whatever the reason, it was to save the world for sure, and we'll see if it was right...like Kyoshi faced criticism despite acting for justice. I desperately hope Asami appears🙏🙏🙏 like in flashbacks, because Korrasami is such a legendary ship that omitting them would be a massive loss!
