2026-10-28 01:00 The contrast in the first panel already foreshadows Rangi’s realization and Kyoshi’s utter abandon; the way the Firebender’s entire figure is drawn over the Avatar, allowing herself to be led astray only halfway, putting up the slightest, most insignificant resistance by bracing herself up on Kyoshi’s shoulders instead of melting against those... 🫢🥴 And their tongues brushing against each other without lashing out... Poetry. And may I say ? Rangi’s face, particularly on the first page, looks so adorably chubby framed by her fierce, jet-black mane, lending her an almost childlike quality, or at least a sense of comfortable lightness. And the "gasp" absolutely sent me. I could almost hear it myself. 🤣 Love her sus As always, your understanding of the characters shines through in their body language, in the way their love expresses itself differently in each of them. I’m certain Rangi wouldn’t let herself be “led astray” like this by anyone else in the world. The one exception to her otherwise unshakable routine~ 🥹 Looking at the various pieces you’ve put out, I’ve noticed an increasingly radiant sparkle in Kyoshi’s eyes, a wonderful vitality that brings to life that sense of humanity which, as you often write, she owes in no small part to her firebending sifu. The last panel is simply far too languid not to make one kneel before your continued efforts and improvements. You can sense a dancing hesitation that is hardly alarmed, in her seemingly effortless decision to let herself be corrupted by a few tender kisses between the sheets... ✨💞 Although I wasn’t entirely convinced at first, your love for these outfits from the new comic series has gradually won me over. There’s something soothing about the comfort of everyday simplicity, and you bring your own distinctive touch to it. One last little bother from me: I was thinking of writing something, and I was wondering whether I might include one of your illustrations of Hei-Ran, if I manage to bring the idea to fruition. Rangi would definitely know when Kyoshi move like that, but she'll just pretend not to notice and let it slide. After all, Kyoshi is the one person who has always been the 'exception' to every discipline Rangi's ever followed. We've already witnessed how she's willing to throw away all her core values if it's about Kyoshi. Before I scrolled over to the second page I had thought Rangi was worried someone was about to walk in on them 😆. Her suddenly slipping into “work mode Rangi” from “mmmhnn mode Rangi” is something I can definitely see happening. So her. Regardless of which mode she’s in, she serves Kyoshi so well. I can’t get over the first panel on page 2. Kyoshi looking at Rangi like a persisting spell has been cast upon her. Perfect desire-filled expression, like there’s nothing else that exists in the world. The way Kyoshi captures the lobe of Rangi’s ear ever so delicately between her fingers…😩 I bow down once again to your ability to express such emotions through your art. Worth a bajillion words.
