The one on the right, I can imagine Rangi trying to train a bunch of Kyoshi Warriors and Kyoshi aproachign her casually to give her that kiss and destroying Rangi's intimidation technique!

2026-11-02 10:00 The duality in their adorable mannerisms deserves to be studied, something you’ve apparently already done with flying colours. 💯💯 There’s a constant gentleness to the Avatar’s broad, sweeping movements, delicate and graceful simply because she wants to shower her precious little tigress with affection. Meanwhile, Rangi seems unable to help clinging to Kyoshi’s clothes, following her around— unconsciously at times, always keeping her beloved within arm’s reach, as though her only true fear were letting her slip away. The cavernous astonishment that rushes through Rangi’s heart with every reaffirmation of affection, whether it’s something as simple as a “my love” or a cuddle at just the right moment, is terribly touching, like a roaring plunge into the abyss, followed by a soft, familiar landing. And her conflicting expressions are hilarious without ever losing their emotional depth. I adore the idea that Kyoshi might experience certain severe deficiencies of affection, given her own childhood and the uncertainty surrounding the uncertain fate of those dear to her, and of herself as the Avatar. So she goes about stealing little bits of attention here and there, even when it’s “inappropriate”, knowing—or, at first, perhaps merely hoping—that despite all her military posturing, Rangi simply cannot let her love go unanswered. They’re poetry written in alternating rhymes, composing themselves along the way until there are no verses left... For one of them, at least. 🥹🔥 Once again, the dazzling brightness of their eyes and expressions envelops a coloring as refined as it is soft, standing out within your masterful linework. Kyoshi’s lovingly bewildered expression makes me wonder how Rangi must have felt when she first fell in love. Perhaps while watching that handsome, sun-kissed face as she sorted through Yun’s belongings, only to find herself drawing the attention of two seemingly harmless emeralds. Panic must certainly have been in the air, along with the dreadful possibility that Yun might win her heart before she could fully understand her own feelings... Ahhh, the terrifying wonders of adolescence~ ✨😋😩 And to top it all off... Uuugh— the way you render every tiny bead of sweat drives me absolutely wild; they're perhaps one of my favourite details in your work. Giving their faces that dewy, languid warmth, with such an enchanting touch of sheen. 🫧🥴🫧 Once again, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! 🔥🪭💯🎇

You say nothing special, but honestly I really like things types of drawings. Any time we get to see a different side, dynamic, or expression it brings them to life more and more. It’s a deeper dive into their personalities and I feel you always capture them well. Whether silly or a little serious, It’s extra endearing 🥹. Kyoshi and Rangi have their own unique ways of being “cute”. Kyoshi’s comes from doe-like innocence, and on the other hand it’s always this reluctance, slight surrender, and blush on Rangi’s part. No matter how much you try to hide it we know!! You always deliver, and as always, thank you for sharing this with us.🫶

Honestly, she was in full-on gay panic mode all through Book 1, turned into a soft, cute girlfriend in Book 2, and by OFF DUTY, she’s become a complete power top who doesn’t get flustered anymore and showers her girl with affection naturally🔥🔥 god so proud how she's been growing but I’ll always have a huge soft spot for the shy, flustered Rangi from Book 1. Kyoshi is pretty chill and knows FN culture, but she’d definitely display affection for her gf anywhere😌 Imagine how many embarrassing moments she caused Rangi in front of whole FN folks after they got married🔥🔥🔥

Like....I’ll always love Book 1 Rangi, who was super shy yet so bold and reckless for her love. I adore her current chill, stable wife era too i the OFF DUTY, but the version of her whose face turned bright red at the drop of a hat in Book 1 will forever hold a special place near my heart.

My absolute favorite thing about their relationship is how Rangi was so bold and active in showing her feelings for Kyoshi even tho she was struggling with her honest face colour. Like in the South Pole, when she was at her lowest, she sought out Kyoshi’s tent, tidied things up, and waited patiently for her. That specific detail made me lose my mind every single time🥹 Our girl was in love so hard.... Like seeing how Rangi who'd been trained to the bone as a rigid, loyal soldier, made an exception for literally everything when it comes to Kyoshi just shows how deeply in love she was. I don’t know when it even started, but right from early Book 1, she was already tagging along after Kyoshi everywhere😭 What a cute baby lesbian.... Kyoshi was the late starter, but the way she placed Rangi right at the center of her life after that, treating her lover as the anchor holding up her humanity??? PLZ these two are easily the best fictional characters of my life😭❤️💚❤️💚 And always thank you sm for your thoughtful comment❤️💚

Yes, officially Rangi is currently only the one fire bender who can produce the white flames in the entire Avatar franchise. She might not be a lightning bender, but while most high-tier firebenders only reach blue flames so far, Rangi is currently the only bender confirmed to wield white flames. It happens near the end of Book 2 when she gets utterly furious. Plus, in the mobile game, this white flame is even included as one of Rangi’s skill sets🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 SHE'S THE GOAT

Rangi would find herself following or seeking out Kyoshi, probably without even fully realising it, much like at the beginning of the Book 1, when Kyoshi finds her still lingering beside her in the kitchens, silently contemplating her crush 🥰🥴🎇 I'd already been won over by the vase scene, but as you said, the tent scene shows just how openly and vulnerably Rangi is willing to let herself be seen by Kyoshi. Get a hint, Avataaaar ! 🙄 As always, my pleasure 😋

Thank you D ☺️ Sometimes I just draw random stuff without any real plan, and that’s how this one started too. But since I went all the way to fully coloring it, I posted it and I’m so happy to see mates here loving it! I'm happiest whenever I'm drawing these two thesedays (been more than one year tho), and I never get tired of them no matter how much I draw them💦 Like you said, I think their biggest charm is how contrasting yet super distinct their personalities are. They’re both well within the range of superduper cuteness, but in their relationship, Rangi has this cat-like charm-shy, yet determined to fight for her love, while Kyoshi is like a super gentle yet clueless deer who suddenly turns into a hero charging through fire and water for the one she loves. Every single time, I find myself completely blown away by FC YEE’s talent. I love these amazing characters this genius gave us, and I’m just so happy I get to fangirl about them with all of you❤️💚❤️💚🔥🪭
