Newsletter: Issue #1 (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

Patreon has added this nice new feature - allowing us to send a Patreon newsletter. In this, we'll be letting you know what we've released recently on Patreon, as well as other maps we've put onto DTRPG or DMsGuild. We'll also give you a indication of what we've got planned for the future.

As always, it's been a busy month with Patreon, with a huge number of releases. Some of our favourites are:

Ravenhollow Square

We did this as part of a collaboration with JamesRPGArt, who created an amazing painted scene to accompany it. See the post here

The Great Machine

This was a fun one. I had made a refinery map for the Sci-Fi tier, but then felt inspired to do a fantasy/steampunk version as well!

The Crimson Secret - Collab Adventure with Kelfecil's Tales

In time for Halloween, we worked with Kelfecil , providing maps for a creepy Halloween adventure! If you're a Patron you can grab it here but it's also for sale in our Patreon shop.

DMsGuild Releases

It's been a busy month with DMsGuild too! Here are some of the things we've worked on

Baldur's Gate Jam - The Vessel of the Blood

This was really fun, and something different. We took part in the Games Jam organised by DMsGuild - with the challenge to write an adventure set in Baldur's Gate. We love writing adventures, and also love making maps too! So, our adventure Vessel of the Blood features three brand new maps, as well as an amazing adventure!

Adventures in Faerun

This week WotC released Adventures in Faerun, essentially a book of 50 or so one-shot adventures, plus a Level 1-3 starter adventure.

We've been working behind the scenes so that already we've released a full set of battlemaps for the Lost Library (the starter adventure) plus the maps for the first 10 one-shots.

We've got a free sample pack, plus a bundle containing all the maps so far, for just $8.

What's Coming Up?

I'm pushing on with the rest of the Patreon maps for the month. On Monday we released the MotM - the Smeltworks, and soon we'll be doing a poll for the alt version. I've been working on the Third Map today - the chapter house I was supposed to do a few months back (but read the poll results wrong!). This month I'll also be starting the next fantasy megamap - a tall city block.

Elsewhere I'm pushing on with a few more maps for the Dungeon Masters Guide Appendix, plus working on the next set of maps for Adventures in Faerun, so I can get a full set soon!
