Hey everyone!

Really pleased to release this set of maps (the MotM and variants) - The Lost Dungeon!

The idea behind this set of maps was that it was a dungeon used to imprison a powerful entitity, and either as a way of keeping it imprisoned, or by mistake, the dungeon itself has been ripped from the ground and teleported to a planar location.

There's four different locations - astral vortex, storm, fire and gloom. Hopefully at least one of these settings will fit into your game , or perhaps you'll change your game now to make sure your party end up there!

These maps have been added to the VTT vault, and full links have been emailed to you. You can also get the full code links here from the Current post for your tier

Alt-Version

Time to suggest an alt-version of this map!

Is there a different location we could put this Lost Dungeon? How could we modify it into something else? Put your comments below and we'll create a poll of our favourites!

Maybe a ice or underwater version?

Emily

I'd love to see it under a desert with sand flowing in through the gaps and ominously piling up in some corridors where the ceiling is clearly unstable. Adding a couple of sand pngs would allow DMs to up the tension during play.

The Ice version could be floating on an endless sea of ice. The underwater could just be submerged under water on the bottom of an ocean.

It’s a little bit difficult to see but how should the place be entered? By teleport/portal?

My upcoming setting in the Sunken Ruins of Numenor would second the Underwater version!

Perhaps this dungeon could be remnants of a castle on top of and icy mountain?

The water version could also be a massive reef around the dungeon suggesting the place used to be a some sort of coastal defence

These are awesome!! They have a very epic feel. My suggestion would be floating high above the ground...aerial ruins. I do like the ice and underwater ideas too though.
