Hi everyone,

I wanted to give you an update about the supplement that accompanies the MotM.

In short, I'm afraid we're going to be discontinuing it from now on.

The supplement is always produced by Sarah (who writes 95% of the content herself). For some context, we have two daughters, both of whom are home educated, again mainlhy by Sarah. Five years ago, when we first offered the supplement as part of the reward bundle, one of them was too young, and the other was doing less, and Sarah had time to write the supplement. Now though, she's spending most of the day with both of them, and the eldest is doing her GCSEs so the amount of time Sarah spends planning and working with them has increased dramatically.

As a result, it's become increasingly difficult to find time for the supplement. We've made the decision to stop offering it.

We hope you can understand our reasoning. There's still loads of supplements in the vault, and there's no change to the maps you'll be getting.

Thanks

Joe  & Sarah

Don't worry. Family goes first and your main value proposal have always been the maps. Regards.

Absolutely family first. That's our gaming group's first rule. You two have always given us high quality. It's OK to re-evaluate.

Michael O Holland

No worries at all! Gotta prioritize time to take care of the family, I completely understand. Still happy to be a supporter and enjoy all the maps you pour out for us. :)

Jonathan Reece

Yep -- priorities. We love your work, but what you do for them is so much more important.

David Geary

I won't lie and say I haven't LOVED them. They have always been so fun!

Lloyd Ritchey

Knowing that Sara is homeschooling your daughters just cemented my commitment to Heroic Maps. As a former American teacher who also homeschooled (via another amazing wife!), I am *HAPPY* to support private education. Maintain your quality and creativity and you've got a lifelong customer.

Good luck to Sarah, she has enough on her hands and its more important. And congrats for her fine jobs on those.

Jason Oliver

I think a hearty "So What" is in order. Your children are the priority.

Will Martin

Honestly, I only glanced at those once or twice anyway. I'm in it for the maps, and am perfectly happy to design my own encounters.

Alex Smith

Do what you gotta do.

Taking the time to teach your own kids is very commendable. Kudos

First and foremost, your family always comes first. Second, just know that you are supported by a huge community of creatives, and I know that I, for one, am always looking for opportunities to collaborate. Put out the call! Light the beacons of Gondor! Heck, I'd even do it for Exposure Bucks (tm) ;)

Michael Rozmin

All good. Life stuff and family stuff is way too important to not give those you love your all.

Brent Greenhalgh

Sorry to bother you but, The Fortress of Dhu'um Map 4 discount code doesn't work.

Ryan Rogers

I've used the supplements, but only mainly for the D&D adventure module resource packs sold on DM's Guild. I assume those will continue, if for no other reasons that WotC requires them (ie you can't just sell maps, supposedly).
