The void trembled with fury.
“Curses! That damn Demonic Chaos Emperor will destroy everything!” Her voice rang through the emptiness like thunder over still water. “If he’s not stopped, the Seven Worlds will be conquered.”
Her words echoed endlessly, swallowed by the black sea of stars that surrounded her. A long mane of midnight hair floated in the void, rippling with divine light as if reacting to her rage. Her crystal-blue eyes blazed with both authority and anguish, reflecting the shattered cosmos beneath her.
Below her floated a world, vast, ancient, and dying. Once radiant continents were now engulfed by a creeping black mist, choking out the light. The very crust of the planet boiled crimson, rivers of molten fire carving through what was left of mountains and kingdoms. From above, it looked as if the world itself was bleeding.
The woman’s white imperial robes shimmered faintly with golden runes, their luster dimmed by despair. Around her, faint traces of broken worlds drifted, rings of shattered moons, the corpses of dying suns, and the faint spiritual cries of civilizations lost. Her gaze softened for a moment as she reached out a hand toward the burning planet below, her slender fingers trembling.
“...How did it come to this?” She whispered, her tone breaking the mask of divine calm. “So many sacrificed... so many hopes turned to ash.”
For a brief instant, her mind replayed the horrors, cities collapsing into the darkness, skies torn apart by black lightning, and the mocking laughter of a man wreathed in chaotic fire, the Demonic Chaos Emperor. His crimson eyes, filled with boundless malice, haunted her every thought.
She clenched her fist, her aura surging like a tidal wave. The stars flickered as if afraid of her wrath. “But no one in the Seven Worlds is capable of killing him…” She muttered bitterly. “Even the other immortals have fallen, their domains devoured. The so-called Immortal Sects are nothing but dust.”
Her voice trembled between fury and resignation. “Sigh… I guess I have no choice.” Her eyes lifted to the boundless dark. “I’ll just have to look elsewhere.”
A soft hum filled the air as countless runes spiraled into existence around her. The space behind her split open into a vortex of light and darkness, a gate to the outer reaches of this universe. Starlight reflected against her pale skin as she took a final glance at the dying world below. Her expression, though divine, carried the melancholy of someone who had lost too much already.
She thought to herself, ‘If even I cannot stand against him, then perhaps the answer lies beyond our realm. Beyond the known worlds... somewhere untouched by chaos.’
A faint smile touched her lips—wistful, almost childlike. “Let’s see what fate has hidden from even the gods.”
Her robes fluttered in the cosmic wind as she stepped forward. The moment her foot touched the glowing threshold, her body dissolved into radiant motes of blue light. The void around her fell silent, the only sound left being the distant hum of collapsing worlds.
Then—like a comet streaking across the dark—she vanished into the endless stars, leaving behind nothing but a whisper.
“Until we meet again… my world.”

Earth (DxDverse)
Before her floated a small blue planet, fragile, delicate, and brimming with life. The woman hovered in the dark expanse, her white robes swaying gently in the cosmic breeze as the faint sunlight brushed her porcelain skin. Stars glimmered behind her like scattered diamonds, but her crystal-blue eyes were fixed on the tiny orb before her.
She frowned, the expression deepening the regal lines of her face. “Hmm. Such a small world…” She murmured, her tone a mixture of disappointment and mild curiosity. “I doubt I’ll find anything here.”
For a moment, she turned her head aside, gazing across the endless void, her pride whispering that this was beneath her. But something about the faint hum of Earth’s energy drew her attention again. Her lips curled in a faint smirk. “But it won’t hurt to look.”
She extended a hand toward the blue planet. Her fingers glowed with divine symbols, runes spinning like tiny suns around her palm. Her voice dropped to a low, resonant command that made the very stars shiver.
“World, show me your history.”
The void rippled. The Earth itself seemed to respond, layers of spiritual light unraveling before her eyes. Images and sensations flooded her mind, a torrent of ages compressed into a memory. She saw humanity’s rise and fall, wars fought for ideals and love, tears shed for heroes long forgotten. But what truly caught her off guard were the things hidden beneath the mundane surface.
“...What is this?” she whispered.
Her pupils dilated as she witnessed beings she had never encountered before, fallen angels, devils, pure angels, dragons with power rivaling gods, and pantheons of strange deities with names she did not recognize. Entire realms hovered invisibly beside the Earth, vast enough to contain stars of their own. Each one sealed itself off the moment her gaze brushed across them, shutting their gates with defensive power that even she could feel.
She chuckled softly, almost amused. “Ohh… there might be something here after all.”
Her curiosity sharpened into a smile. She raised her hand again, this time speaking with intent and focus.
“World, show me your greatest hero!”
Her voice echoed through the planet, and for a moment she expected the light to answer immediately. But the cosmos remained silent. The planet merely turned, unbothered, as if mocking her.
She frowned. “...Did I not do it correctly?”
And then—
“OPPAI!!!”
The word exploded inside her mind like divine thunder. The echo was followed by a blinding flash of light and… music?
“ZOOM ZOOM IYAAAAA!”
The woman blinked in confusion, her divine poise faltering. “W-what?!”
The next image hit her like a meteor.
“I will be a Harem King!”
Her dignified expression froze. Images flooded her mind, a teenage boy with messy brown hair and a grin filled with idiocy and fire, declaring perverted dreams to the heavens. She saw him peeping into the girls’ changing room, being punched into walls by angry women, getting humiliated, and yet somehow thriving in his absurd misfortune.
Her lips twitched. “This... this is Earth’s greatest hero?”
For a moment she almost turned away, revolted by the shamelessness. “Unbelievable… his aura is so weak, his thoughts are consumed by fleshly desires! How can such a boy—”
Then she paused.
Her senses delved deeper, beyond the embarrassment of his surface. She saw him fall for the first time, betrayed by the girl he loved. She felt the pain, the heartbreak, the sheer confusion in his young soul as his life ended under a crimson sky. Her expression softened.
“…You poor child,” She whispered.
Then came another scene, him reborn, burning with determination. Standing between enemies and the friends he swore to protect. The perverted grin was still there, but so was something else, an unyielding heart.
“Rias Gremory’s virginity is mine!”
The woman nearly facepalmed. “By the stars, must he shout that?” She groaned. Yet even as she complained, she found herself laughing quietly. The absurdity was… refreshing.
Scene after scene unfolded, him charging into hopeless battles, taking blows meant for others, shouting names of loved ones with the fury of dragons.
“ASIAAA!!!”
The sound of that cry tore through her chest. She could feel the despair, the madness, the raw willpower burning within him as he unleashed forbidden power in response to the loss of someone dear.
Tears welled in her eyes before she realized it.
Her frown vanished, replaced by something almost childlike wonder. With each moment she watched, she leaned closer to the vision, her heartbeat racing as if witnessing an epic unfold before her eyes.
‘This boy… this foolish, perverted, kind-hearted idiot…’ She found herself smiling. “You really are something else.”
She saw him fight devils, angels, gods, dragons, forging bonds, winning hearts, and defying fate. Each defeat shaped him. Each victory made him shine brighter.
By the time his story reached its peak, the Empress of the Seven Worlds, a being that would be feared by gods, was clutching her chest, trembling with emotion like a fan seeing her favorite hero triumph.
When the final image faded, she stood in silence, her heart racing.
Then she spoke softly to herself. “...I highly doubt I can convince the Infinite and the Dream to leave their domains.” Her voice carried a reluctant fondness. “And while the White Dragon Emperor would fit right at home in my world, I believe it would cause more harm than good.”
She sighed, though her lips curved into a small, barely concealed smile. “So I guess I have no other option… but to entrust my future to the Red Dragon Emperor.”
The light of distant stars reflected in her eyes as she folded her hands over her impressive chest, trying to mask the warmth spreading within her.
“Don’t misunderstand,” She muttered to herself, cheeks faintly flushed. “It’s not as if I like him or anything. I just… see potential, that’s all.”
But deep down, as the cosmos hummed around her and Earth continued its slow spin, the Empress of the Seven Worlds couldn’t help but whisper one last thought, soft as a prayer.
“Hyoudou Issei… let’s see if your light can save even my dying world.”
—--------------------------------
Nighttime, Hyoudou household, Issei's room.
The soft glow of the moon seeped through the curtains of a small, cluttered bedroom in the Hyoudou household. Posters of JAV actresses and anime girls plastered the walls, mingling with the faint scent of old manga pages. A small desk sat by the window, covered in scattered notebooks, a handheld console, and a half-eaten bag of chips. The quiet hum of the night was only interrupted by the faint, rhythmic breathing of a boy sleeping soundly on his bed.
Hyoudou Issei, age fourteen, lay sprawled across his sheets in an awkward position, one arm hanging off the side of the bed, his leg tangled in his blanket, and a wide grin plastered across his face. His expression was… less than dignified.
“Hehehe… not there, that tickles…” He murmured in his sleep, cheeks flushed pink. His body twitched as if reacting to his dream, and the grin deepened. “ W-wait, I can’t handle both of you at once—”
A low chuckle echoed in the air.
The temperature of the room dropped slightly as the air rippled, the reality itself bending like a disturbed reflection in water. From the shimmering distortion, a figure stepped forth.
A woman clad in immaculate white imperial robes emerged, her presence radiant yet serene. Her long black hair floated weightlessly, as if the world’s gravity dared not touch her. Around her, faint motes of golden and blue light danced like fireflies, illuminating the boy’s humble room.
She gazed down at Issei with eyes that held both divine wisdom and tender amusement. Her lips curved into a soft, knowing smile.
“So this is the famous Red Dragon Emperor… asleep, drooling, and dreaming of women.” She shook her head lightly, though the fondness in her tone betrayed her amusement. “For a child of such destiny, he’s rather… unremarkable.”
Her gaze softened as she took a step closer, the sound of her bare feet never touching the ground. She studied his face, peaceful, innocent, utterly unaware that his life was about to change forever.
‘I doubt the Issei after becoming a devil will want to leave his women, family, and friends,’ she thought, her expression wistful. ‘So I guess this age should do. This time before everything begins…’
The woman crouched beside his bed, her white sleeves brushing lightly against the floor. She reached out a hand, her fingers trembling for the first time in what felt like eons. When her fingertips grazed his cheek, a faint warmth spread across his skin.
She let out a quiet sigh, her voice laced with admiration and disbelief. “It’s strange… that such a weak, talentless boy could hold so much potential. Your heart shines brighter than entire stars, Hyoudou Issei. A strength born not of blood or divinity… but of stubborn, foolish will.”
Issei’s head shifted slightly at her touch, murmuring again. “Mmm… boobs…”
The woman blinked, then let out a short, startled laugh, soft and melodic, echoing faintly across the room. “Boobs? Even in sleep, your thoughts remain pure in their depravity.” She covered her mouth, suppressing another giggle. “And yet… somehow, it’s endearing.”
For a moment, she simply watched him, her eyes reflecting the faint moonlight. Behind that serene smile hid a storm of emotions, guilt, curiosity, and something gentler, something she never hadn’t felt in millennia.
She whispered, more to herself than to him, “Forgive me, child. For what I am about to do… for taking you from this place of warmth and innocence. But the world I come from—my world—has no heroes left. And I cannot bear to watch it fall.”
Her hand glowed softly, a divine light pooling from her palm and wrapping around Issei like a cocoon. His sleeping face relaxed, the tension melting away as if his dreams had shifted to something calmer. The light reflected off the posters on his walls, giving the entire room an otherworldly radiance.
“You won’t remember this moment,” she continued, her tone heavy with bittersweet affection. “But perhaps… one day, you’ll understand why I chose you. Not for your strength, not for your power… but for the heart that refuses to give up, even when the heavens turn against it.”
The air began to hum with divine energy. The woman straightened, her white robes fluttering as though caught in a celestial wind.
“Now then,” she said softly, gazing at him one last time. “Let’s see if the Red Dragon Emperor can become the savior of worlds.”
With that, the sigils around her flared brightly, engulfing the small bedroom in a radiant brilliance. The gentle hum rose into a crescendo of light — not destructive, but warm, almost loving.
Issei murmured one last sleepy sound, reaching unconsciously toward her glowing hand.
Then, with a final smile, the woman whispered, “Sleep well, my chosen one.”
The light consumed them both — and in an instant, the room fell silent.
When the brilliance faded, the bed was empty. The moonlight returned to its quiet vigil over an unoccupied room, where the faint scent of divine energy lingered in the air, and a single page from a manga fluttered to the floor — the image of a grinning red dragon shining faintly in the pale light.

Outside the Cultivation World.
The endless cosmos stretched before her, a sea of swirling galaxies and dying stars. The woman floated in silence, her white imperial robes glimmering faintly against the deep void. In her arms, a young boy slept soundly, his chest rising and falling in peaceful rhythm, unaware of the divine presence beside him or the weight of destiny soon to be placed upon his shoulders.
Issei’s expression was still faintly perverted even in slumber. It made her smile at first, a small, genuine smile that softened the stern features of the Celestial empress who had once been feared across worlds. But that smile began to fade as her gaze turned toward the planet below.
Her world.
A majestic sphere of emerald continents and sapphire oceans, surrounded by rings of ancient ruins and floating temples that shimmered with spiritual energy. The great martial peaks of her domain reached into the atmosphere like spears of pride, proud monuments to countless generations of cultivators who had fought, bled, and ascended through power and discipline.
But the longer she stared, the more the beauty dimmed.
The lights of cities glimmered like dying embers. She could see flashes of golden battles breaking out even now, cultivators clashing over treasures, sects razing one another in endless competition. She could feel the greed, the ambition, the hatred that laced the very air of her world. The soundless wails of betrayal echoed faintly through the void.
Her joy withered and expression faltered, lips trembling as a sigh escaped her. “...I guess it just came to me,” She murmured, almost in disbelief. “This world… is cruel.”
Her robes swayed gently as she turned her gaze toward the horizon, where two suns rose together in a distant dawn. “A world filled with competition, ready to leave anybody in the dust. People willing to betray even family if it means the slightest chance of power.”
She closed her eyes. In her mind’s eye, she saw them, her old enemies, her loyal followers, her disciples who smiled at her in devotion one day and plotted her death the next. The laughter, the screams, the rivers of blood… all of it echoed in her ears like ghosts that refused to fade.
“And now…” She whispered, looking toward the boy who floated quietly beside her. “For me to bring this innocent, honest child into that same world, by ripping him from his home, is beyond cruel.”
Her hand trembled slightly as she reached toward him, brushing a lock of his hair from his forehead. He stirred faintly in his sleep, murmuring something incomprehensible, soft and human. For a moment, her divine heart ached.
“A part of me wants to take you back,” She said softly, her tone breaking. “To return you to your warm bed, your family, your friends… to the safety of that small blue planet. But…” Her voice faltered. “…I came too far to turn back.”
She drew a deep breath, steadying herself as the wind of the cosmos stirred her long black hair. “If we meet again,” She continued, “and on your face shows nothing but hatred for me… I shall accept it. Even if that hatred means my death at your hands.”
Her tone hardened, though her eyes shimmered with faint tears. “But somehow… I already know your heart.”
She smiled faintly, her expression fragile but warm. “That face of yours would only show acceptance… and a will to help a woman in pain.”
The realization struck her like a blade of light, and she exhaled shakily, the weight of her guilt pressing deeper into her chest. “Knowing that,” She whispered, “makes this guilt all the worse. Hah…”
A soft, bitter laugh escaped her lips. “To think that I, the Empress who slaughtered millions for daring to stand in her way, could feel such emotions.”
Her gaze drifted toward the stars, almost wistful. “My enemies would laugh. They’d wonder if this is truly the same woman who destroyed their clans, who murdered their disciples without remorse.”
She turned back to Issei, her eyes tracing his features, the faint smile that lingered even in sleep, the calm rise and fall of his chest. “What is it about you?” She murmured. “What power hides behind that foolish grin of yours?”
For a long time, she simply watched him, as if trying to memorize every detail. Then, a small, almost fragile smile crossed her face.
“I guess…” She said quietly, “…I can only give my love and adoration to you.”
Her hand glowed faintly as she cupped his cheek, her thumb brushing gently against his skin. “I will do my best to help you, Issei. To guide you. To see whatever dreams you chase, fulfilled, no matter how absurd they may be.”
The stars around them dimmed, as though the universe itself held its breath. Her expression softened further, filled with a strange, human tenderness that she hadn’t felt in centuries.
“Sleep well, my Red Dragon,” she whispered.
Then, leaning forward, she pressed her lips to his.
It was soft, almost reverent. The kiss glowed faintly with divine light, waves of crimson and gold spreading outward from the point of contact. Issei’s body shimmered, the power settling deep within him, merging with his soul.
“This should help you take your first step into cultivation,” She said softly, breaking the kiss with a lingering gaze. “And strengthen your connection to the Red Dragon within you.”
Her fingers brushed against his hand, and a tiny blue orb, swirling with light, appeared between them. She held it up, examining its quiet glow.
“Also…” Her lips curved faintly. “It’s a show of my honesty. If I remember right, the first kiss of a woman is considered… special.”
Her tone wavered at the last word, and she quickly looked away, clearing her throat as if embarrassed. “But d-don’t misunderstand. It’s not sentimentality. Just… formality.”
She placed the glowing marble gently in his palm, closing his fingers around it. The object pulsed once, faintly in sync with his heartbeat.
“This,” she whispered, “is a treasure I once found in the deepest rift of time. The strangest thing is… even I don’t know what it does.” She smiled faintly, tilting her head. “But I’m sure you’ll find out one day.”
Her light began to fade, her body slowly dissolving into shimmering motes that drifted around the boy like a protective cocoon. The stars themselves seemed to bend toward her, as if bidding farewell.
“Until we meet again, Hyoudou Issei,” she said softly, her voice echoing across the cosmos like the song of a forgotten goddess. “I will keep watching… until you’re strong enough to stand on your own two feet.”
Her expression softened, filled with warmth and pride. “Grow… and never change.”
And with that, her divine form vanished completely, leaving only the sleeping boy suspended in the starlight — his body glowing faintly red, his hand clutching the mysterious blue marble.
Below them, her world continued to turn — unaware that its savior had already arrived.
