The Lost City: Aethelgard (or The Grand Metro of Neo-Aethel)

Once one of the world’s twenty megacities, known globally as "The City of Steel and Sapphire," it was a hyper-advanced megalopolis housing over a hundred million citizens. In its golden age, Aethelgard’s skyline featured monumental skyscrapers crafted from solar-absorbent "smart-glass" and polished chromite alloys. 

Today, the proud name of Aethelgard exists only in the memory banks of G.O.D. To the rest of the ruined world, the skeletal, leaning giants of the city are known simply as the Iron Graveyard, a dead monument to humanity’s failure after suffering from the seventh World War.
