DW DXD Chapter 103 Karasuba’s First Date Part 4 (Patreon)
Content
The amber glow of the late afternoon sun bathed the Fiore countryside in long, stretching shadows as Kuromaru glided steadily through the sky. The massive black wyvern’s wings cut smoothly through the crisp autumn breeze, descending lower as the familiar rolling terrain surrounding Oak Town came into view.
Behind the wyvern’s sweeping horns, Issei sat in quiet contemplation, his hand resting on the reinforced leather harness. Behind him lay the bundle wrapped tightly in a thick white sheet, secured by heavy ropes to Kuromaru’s saddle, the lifeless body of Aria.
Thankfully they were able to find the body and were now taking it to the town to give it a proper burial.
Beside Issei, Karasuba, now patched up with bandages covering most of her wounds, leaned back lazily against the luggage strap, her long grey hair fluttering wildly in the rushing wind. She rested one hand on the hilt of her nodachi, completely unfazed by the somber cargo behind them. For her, the battle was won, the blood was spilled, and the thrill was over.
Issei, however, couldn't shake the heavy weight pressing down on his chest. ‘How the hell am I supposed to explain this?’ He thought, rubbing his temples with a weary groan.
(You fret over trivial matters, Partner,) Ddraig’s gruff, rumbling voice echoed in his mind. (The man was already dead by the time you arrived and could’ve done nothing about it.)
‘It’s not just guilt, Ddraig,’ Issei replied internally. ‘Aria was the leader of the Element 4. Totomaru is literally living and working under my roof right now. Juvia and Gajeel are both in Fairy Tail trying to start over. Finding out their former comrade ended up dead like this... it’s not going to be an easy pill to swallow.’
“Master,” Sherri’s calm, synthetic voice chimed softly from the Dimensional Watch on his wrist. “We’re Approaching Oak Town outskirts. You should expect an elevated level of civilian anxiety in the area, likely resulting from the seismic disturbance caused by the various mountains collapsing.”
Issei looked back, where the imposing silhouette of the eastern mountain range once stood, there was now a gaping, barren skyline. The entire peak had been completely erased from the map.
“Right,” Issei muttered. “Kuromaru, bring us down here. In the tree line near the main road. Let’s not give the guards a heart attack by dropping right in the town square.”
Kuromaru let out a low, compliant rumble. Tilting his massive wings, the wyvern banked sharply and touched down smoothly on a grassy clearing sheltered by a thick canopy of oaks, kicking up a gentle whirlwind of dry leaves.
Issei vaulted off the saddle, his boots sinking into the damp earth, followed closely by Karasuba, who landed as lightly as a falling leaf.
Working quickly, Issei reached up and untied the thick ropes, hauling the wrapped body of Aria over his shoulder, which was hard considering just how big the man was. Even in death, the fallen mage’s frame felt strangely heavy.
“Ready?” Issei asked, turning back to Karasuba.
The grey-haired Sekirei gave an amused scoff, crossing her arms over her chest. “Ashikabi-sama, you worry far too much about what the sheep think of the wolf's feast. We took the quest, we eliminated the threat, and we brought back the proof. What else is there to care about?”
“Karasuba, normal people don't casually blow up an entire mountain range on a Quest.” Issei deadpanned, rolling his eyes as he patted Kuromaru’s snout. “Stay here and keep hidden, buddy. We’ll be back soon.”
Kuromaru huffed out a warm puff of smoke, curling up beneath the shade of the tall trees to rest.
With a deep breath, Issei turned toward the dirt road leading into Oak Town. Alongside Karasuba, he began walking toward the town gates, bracing himself for the bewildered shock, terror, and confusion that awaited them from the townsfolk and the complicated conversation he would have to face once they returned home.
—--------------------------------
Oak Town
The moment Issei and Karasuba stepped through the shattered wooden gates of Oak Town, they immediately grasped the sheer, staggering scale of the devastation their battle had wrought.
The quiet, orderly town they had entered only hours earlier was now practically unrecognizable. Several two-story buildings had collapsed into piles of splintered timber and mortar. Temporary relief shelters of canvas and tarps lined the main square, where local mages were busily treating the wounded with basic healing spells while laborers braced leaning walls with fresh wooden beams. Broken terracotta tiles, shattered window glass, and heavy chunks of stone littered the streets, while massive, jagged fissures tore through the cobblestone roads like deep, ugly scars.
Shopkeepers and townsfolk worked side by side to clear the rubble and salvage whatever belongings remained within their damaged homes. Every so often, a group would pause, whispering among themselves as they cast anxious, fearful glances toward the horizon.
The reason for their apprehension was impossible to miss. The eastern mountain peak that had once towered over the town was simply gone, replaced by a colossal, smoking trench that carved straight through the range, leaving a smooth, hollowed-out canyon where bedrock used to be. A faint, powdery cloud of pulverized stone still drifted lazily in the mountain air.
Yet, despite the destruction, the people had not surrendered to despair. Young children carried armfuls of debris while adults hauled fallen masonry. A handful of local mages were utilizing basic Earth and Construction Magic to stabilize compromised foundations.
The town was bruised, battered, and utterly exhausted. But it was rebuilding.
Issei’s expression softened, his brow furrowing with guilt. "Man..." He muttered under his breath. "We really did a number on this place, didn't we?"
Karasuba glanced around at the ruined storefronts with complete indifference. "They'll rebuild. Flesh and stone mend easily enough."
"That's not the point, Karasuba," Issei sighed, shaking his head.
As they walked down the central square, the surrounding townspeople began to take notice.
At first, there was only hesitant curiosity. Then, the receptionist from the town hall emerged from a medical tent, her eyes widening as she recognized them. "It’s... it’s the mages from Fairy Tail!"
The words rippled through the street like wildfire.
Work ground to a halt. Men, women, and shopkeepers turned toward the approaching duo, their expressions hardening with a volatile mix of suspicion, fear, and lingering hostility.
Issei couldn't bring himself to blame them. He vividly remembered the Mayor’s bitter tirade before they had departed. These people had lived under the sheltering wing of Phantom Lord for years; to them, Fairy Tail was the reckless guild that had shattered their regional stability and left them vulnerable. And now, these two mages were strolling back from the very mountains where the catastrophic tremors had originated.
"Well..." Issei muttered awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "This is going to be tense."
Karasuba offered a sharp, amused smirk. "I don't see the problem. If they want to pick a fight, I still have plenty of stamina left."
"Of course you'd say that." Before Issei could grab her arm to keep her from threatening anyone, an urgent voice broke through the crowd.
"You two! Hold on!"
Issei looked up as the Mayor came jogging toward them as fast as his aging legs could carry him.
The man looked completely disheveled, his formal coat caked in grey plaster dust and his shirt sleeves rolled up from hours of hauling debris. Several councilmen and town guards trailed closely behind him.
"You're alive!" The Mayor gasped, bending over with his hands on his knees to catch his breath.
Issei blinked. "Uh... yeah? We made it back."
The Mayor straightened up, his chest heaving. "I thought you were buried in the mountains! We felt that final, monstrous shockwave, and then..." His gaze drifted downward, locking onto the long, cloth-wrapped bundle resting heavily over Issei's shoulder. His voice dropped to a trembling whisper. "What happened up there?"
Issei's face grew somber. "We found the source of the earthquakes and eliminated it."
The Mayor’s eyes widened in genuine disbelief. "You... you actually did?"
Issei gave a firm nod. "The tremors weren't natural. There was a massive, illegal research facility carved into the heart of the mountain, conducting grotesque magical experiments on mutated beasts and chimeras."
A chorus of shocked murmurs swept through the listening crowd.
"An illegal lab?"
"In our mountains?!"
"Experimenting on monsters...?"
"There were dozens of dark mages and failed weapons guarding the place," Karasuba chimed in, crossing her arms casually. "Along with a rather irritating pile of animated rocks."
The Mayor turned his bewildered gaze to her. "A... stone monster?"
"A Dark Guild construct called the Earth Titan," Issei explained seriously. "It was fifteen meters tall, powered by a massive core, and composed of various minerals. Every step it took generated seismic waves, and it could manipulate the earth element to regenerate by absorbing surrounding stone. It was using the mountain's bedrock as a battery, which is what was tearing your town apart."
The Mayor's face turned stark white. "A creature like that... was next to our town this entire time?"
"Yeah," Issei replied softly. "It was dangerously strong, but we managed to put it down permanently."
For the first time since they had met, a look of profound, unreserved relief washed over the Mayor’s aged features. "You... you truly saved us..."
The townspeople began murmuring again, this time with tones of awe.
Then, an elderly carpenter leaning on a wooden shovel stepped forward, squinting toward the horizon. "If you only fought a monster... why in the world is the entire mountain range flat?"
An awkward, guilty sweatdrop formed on the back of Issei’s head.
Before he could craft a tactful explanation, Karasuba spoke up without a shred of hesitation. "The mountain was in our way, so we cut it down."
Issei snapped his head toward her, his eyes wide. "Karasuba! That wasn't how I was going to frame it!"
"It is precisely what happened," Karasuba replied with an unapologetic shrug.
The Mayor stared at the two of them, his mouth opening and closing like a landed fish. "...You... vaporized a mountain peak... because it was in the way?"
Issei quickly raised both hands in a placating gesture. "Well, technically, the sheer magical clash between our spells and the Titan caused the structural collapse! But the important thing is that the threat is completely gone! No more earthquakes, guaranteed!"
The Mayor turned his gaze once more toward the horizon. Where a majestic, jagged peak had stood for centuries, there was now only open sky and a smooth, smoking crater. He let out a long, shuddering sigh, his shoulders slumping in sheer exhaustion.
"...I suppose we cannot argue with the results, especially if they come from Fairy Tail." The Mayor muttered softly. Then, his eyes fell back to the bundle on Issei's shoulder, and his tone turned solemn. "And... what of the mage we sent before you?"
Issei’s expression darkened instantly. The lightheartedness vanished from his demeanor. "We found him," Issei said quietly.
The Mayor froze.
Carefully and respectfully, Issei knelt down and laid the wrapped bundle onto the cobblestones. "I'm sorry. We were too late."
The Mayor stared down at the white sheet, his breath hitching. "Aria..."
A heavy, suffocating silence fell over the town square. Several elderly residents began to weep softly into their hands, mourning the local hero they had known since his youth. Even Karasuba’s smug smile faded into a neutral, quiet composure.
Issei reached down and gently folded back a section of the sheet, revealing Aria’s battered face.
The Mayor stepped forward on trembling legs. He looked down at the fallen S-Class mage for a long, agonizing moment before closing his eyes against the prick of tears. "He was always such a stubborn boy... but his heart was tied to this town. To think... even his wind magic couldn't save him from that place."
"I’m sure he didn't go down without a fight," Issei said in a low, respectful tone. "But he was already gone by the time we breached the inner sanctum. The dark guild operating the facility, a group calling themselves Titan Fall, were the ones responsible."
The Mayor’s fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. "Those soulless bastards..." he choked out, his voice shaking with bitter fury.
Issei placed a firm, comforting hand on the older man's shoulder. "We couldn't save his life, Mayor. But I give you my word: the people stationed in that facility will never harm another innocent soul again."
The Mayor looked up into Issei’s honest, steady brown eyes. For the first time, every lingering ounce of hatred, resentment, and prejudice vanished from his expression. All that remained was raw, exhausted gratitude.
"You have my deepest thanks."
Issei offered a small, gentle smile. "You don't need to thank us. We were just doing our job."
The Mayor paused, blinking before a dry, slightly wry frown crossed his lips as he nodded. "You're right... we don't. Because technically speaking, a good portion of this property damage was caused by your excessive fight, wasn’t it."
Issei choked on his own breath, stammering awkwardly as a flush of guilt washed over his cheeks. "Uh... well... you see..."
The Mayor raised a dusty hand to cut him off, letting out a weary chuckle. "Because of the sheer destruction across our infrastructure, I'm afraid I cannot pay you the promised reward money. Every jewel in the municipal treasury must go directly into buying lumber, stone, and relief supplies to rebuild Oak Town."
Issei let out a relieved breath, nodding understandingly. "That's more than fair. Use the funds for your people."
Beside him, Karasuba merely rolled her eyes; she had already received her reward in the thrill of the slaughter and the intimate Norito atop the peak.
The Mayor turned his gaze out over the damaged streets, his voice carrying clearly across the quiet square. "Even without the payout, our debt to you is immense. Whatever bitter thoughts I harbored against Fairy Tail before today... I was wrong. You came to our aid when we had nothing left to offer and that includes everyone else." The Mayor turned toward the gathered crowd, projecting his voice with renewed authority. "Listen to me, everyone! These two mages risked their lives to destroy the monster threatening our home! The nightmare is over!"
A wave of stunned silence rippled through the townsfolk before a sudden, resounding cheer erupted from the relief workers. Shopkeepers bowed their heads in heartfelt gratitude, while several guards who had glared at Issei earlier now looked down at their boots in deep embarrassment.
Issei scratched his cheek, smiling sheepishly. "Uh... happy to help."
Then, the Mayor's expression shifted back to a sharp, analytical seriousness. "You mentioned an illegal dark guild. Titan Fall."
"Yeah," Issei replied, his posture straightening.
"That means this facility was likely not an isolated cell," the Mayor reasoned, rubbing his chin. "There may be a much larger network operating in the shadows of the kingdom."
Issei's smile faded completely. "That's what concerns me. While we obliterated their experimental weapon and wiped out the skeleton crew left to guard the base, the laboratory had already evacuated before we reached the lower vaults. They used teleportation magic to move their primary assets elsewhere." He thought back to the ominous crimson eye projection from their past encounters. "Unforunatly the true masterminds escaped."
"Unacceptable," the Mayor said, his eyes flashing with righteous anger. "As soon as the Magic Council reorganizes its oversight divisions, I will personally file an official petition demanding a full-scale investigation into Titan Fall."
Karasuba’s savage grin returned in an instant, her grey eyes glinting with predatory anticipation. "Sounds to me like we simply have more prey to hunt down later."
Issei sighed softly, looking at her with an amused shake of his head. 'Of course she'd see a shadowy conspiracy as a buffet of good fights.'
The Mayor then looked back down at the wrapped form on the stones. "We will prepare a proper hero's burial for Aria once the immediate relief efforts settle."
"Understood," Issei nodded respectfully.
"He was one of our own," the Mayor added softly, looking at his people. "Whatever mistakes he made during his time with Phantom Lord, he gave his life trying to protect Oak Town. He deserves to rest in the soil he fought for."
Issei offered a warm, parting bow. "Thank you, Mayor."
Karasuba tugged lightly on the sleeve of Issei's coat, tilting her head toward the town gates. "Issei. Can we leave now? I'm covered in dust and bored."
Issei stared at her with a deadpan expression. "Karasuba... you really have zero tact during solemn moments, don't you?"
She shrugged blithely. "None whatsoever."
Issei shook his head, a soft smile breaking across his face as he began rolling up his own sleeves. "We're not leaving just yet. Let's lend a hand with the cleanup first."
Karasuba blinked, genuinely perplexed. "Why in the world would we do that?"
"Because we probably rattled half their chimneys loose during the fight," Issei reasoned, walking toward a pile of heavy stone debris. "The least we can do is help them move some rocks."
Karasuba watched him for a long moment, a faint, fond smirk playing at the corners of her lips before she followed after him. "...Fine. But you're carrying the heavy ones. I’m still injured."
“If you wish to help we would gladly accept it and please have one of our healers take a look and care for your friend.” The mayor said as he guided the pair to the medical tent.
For the next several hours, the two Fairy Tail mages worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the residents of Oak Town, hauling lumber, clearing collapsed streets, and helping neighbors mend their homes.
—---------------------------------
Lakeside Hyoudou Mansion, Evening
The sun had already dipped beneath the horizon, painting the twilight sky in rich shades of violet and crimson by the time Kuromaru finally glided in over the lake toward the Lakeside Hyoudou Mansion.
After spending hours helping the exhausted people of Oak Town rebuild their shattered infrastructure, and ensuring Aria's body was safely placed in the Mayor’s care for a proper and dignified burial, Issei and Karasuba had decided it was finally time to return home.
Kuromaru landed with a soft, heavy thud on the manicured grass of the front yard, lowering himself so the pair could dismount before curling up contentedly to rest.
Issei stretched his arms high over his head, letting out a long, bone-weary groan. "Man... what an absolute marathon of a day."
Karasuba casually dismissed her nodachi into her personal pocket dimension, rolling her shoulders. "I thought it was delightfully fun."
Issei gave her an amused, sidelong glance, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "Of course you thought it was fun. You got to bisect a mountain."
The two began walking toward the grand double doors of the mansion. Normally, after completing an official commission, mages were obligated to return directly to the Fairy Tail Guild hall to submit the paperwork, and report the details to the Guild Master.
Today, however, presented a rather colossal, bearded complication: Makarov.
More specifically, the fact that Makarov undoubtedly knew by now that Issei and Karasuba had brazenly swiped a restricted S-Class quest without so much as a word of permission.
Issei scratched his cheek with a guilty grimace. "We... probably should have dropped by the guild hall first, you know."
Karasuba offered a carefree shrug, unbothered in the slightest. "Why? The old dwarf would just throw a tantrum and try to squash us with his giant fists." Her sharp smirk widened. "If you never hand in the paperwork, he has no official proof we finished it. Out of sight, out of mind."
"That logic is going to get us killed later, Karasuba," Issei sighed, reaching out and turning the polished brass handle of the front door. "I guess all we can do is let him cool off for a day or two. Hopefully, by the time we explain the whole Titan Fall situation, he won't be mad enough to string me up by my ankles."
Pushing the door open, Issei stepped into the foyer and called out into the hallway. "We're home—!"
Absolute, suffocating, graveyard silence.
Both Issei and Karasuba froze dead in their tracks. The moment their shoes crossed the threshold, the entire atmosphere of the entryway felt completely, overwhelmingly wrong.
Standing directly in the center of the hall, blocking the main path forward, was Miya. Her hands were folded with pristine elegance over the front of her kimono. Her long, dark purple hair was arranged in flawless order without a single stray strand. Her lips curved into a soft, serene, and seemingly gentle smile. Except for her eyes. Her eyes were radiating an aura of cold, absolute, pitch-black terror that seemed to lower the room's temperature by twenty degrees.
Every muscle in Issei’s body locked up in an instant. Beside him, Karasuba’s hand instinctively twitched toward the empty space at her hip where her nodachi usually rested—not out of cowardice, but purely because her combat instincts were screaming that a predator was staring them down.
"...M-Miya," Issei said very slowly, his voice tight.
"Welcome home, dear," Miya greeted him. Her tone was smooth, gentle, and entirely too sweet.
Issei audibly swallowed a lump in his throat.
"How was your day?" She asked, tilting her head with angelic grace.
"It was... pretty hectic. We, uh... we almost died a couple of times," Issei answered, offering a nervous, frantic gulp. "A-And yours?"
"Mine was positively wonderful," Miya's smile broadened by a fraction of a millimeter.
"That's... that's great to hear," Issei squeaked out with a trembling, forced grin.
Standing just behind Miya in the wide living area, the entire extended family had assembled to bear witness.
Tamamo stood with her arms elegantly crossed inside her voluminous sleeves, an amused, knowing fox-smirk playing upon her lips. Uzume was biting her lower lip, trying and utterly failing to stifle a fit of hysterical giggles. Yashima stood with her hands clasped, looking genuinely worried for Issei’s physical well-being. Matsu already had a leather-bound notebook flipped open, pen poised to meticulously document every detail of the incoming disciplinary action.
Yuuka watched with a sparkling, mischievous expression that practically shouted, 'This is going to be prime entertainment.' Misuki and Miki stood side-by-side, casting deeply sympathetic, pitying glances in Issei's direction, while Gorou had wisely chosen to plant himself in a far corner, reading a newspaper upside down to maintain zero eye contact.
Little Sakura peeked out from behind Miya’s obi sash, her wide eyes darting back and forth, clearly wondering why everyone was looking at Papa like he had just committed high treason. Ruby was perched near Totomaru by the hallway sofa, both watching the spectacle with quiet fascination. Even Akitsu stood motionless near the back, her pale, expressionless face somehow managing to silently convey a single, clear message: 'Good luck.'
Issei’s eyes darted frantically across the gallery of spectators. "...W-Why is everybody gathered in the front hall?"
Tamamo offered a melodic chuckle. "Why, we were simply waiting for your safe return, my husband."
"Waiting for... what, exactly?" Issei asked, his voice cracking slightly.
"To hear all about your lovely little date, of course," Tamamo replied, her golden eyes gleaming.
Issei felt his stomach plummet straight into the floorboards.
Miya took one slow, deliberate step forward. The polished wood groaned beneath her zori sandals. "Yes. I was told you had quite an exhilarating outing today."
Issei's eyes snapped sideways toward Karasuba, frantically begging for support.
Karasuba, however, merely crossed her arms with pride. "We certainly did. It was glorious—packed with blood, shattered bones, and relentless slaughter from start to finish."
Issei's jaw dropped in sheer horror. "Karasuba!! Don't make it worse than it already is!!"
Miya’s pristine smile twitched violently. "Please," Miya whispered, her voice dropping an octave as her dark gaze locked squarely onto Issei. "Do go on. Tell me more about your romantic little excursion."
Issei swallowed hard, raising both hands in a desperate surrender gesture. "W-Well... you see... we went to take care of a minor local earthquake affecting a whole town.”
Miya nodded slowly. "I see, is that all?" Then, in a fraction of a second, the sweet facade shattered entirely. A dark, terrifying, demonic Hannya mask aura materialized like a swirling phantasm behind Miya’s back, her eyes flashing with pure maternal wrath. "Because according to a visit from Master Makarov, the two of you illegally stole an official S-Class quest and fled the town without authorization. Do either of you have anything intelligent to say for yourselves?"
Pure, unadulterated dread flooded Issei’s veins. His heart was hammering so loudly he could hear it in his teeth. Even Karasuba’s composure cracked, a bead of cold sweat running down her cheek as the suffocating, dense pressure radiating from Miya grew heavier.
Receiving no immediate response, Miya’s left eyebrow twitched as she took another slow step forward. "I am waiting for an answer."
"T-Technically—!" Issei stammered out frantically.
Miya stared down at him. "What, pray tell, do you mean by 'technically'?"
"Karasuba was the one who pulled the flyer off the board!" Issei blurted out, shamelessly tossing his partner under the nearest bus.
Karasuba’s eyes snapped wide, instantly pointing an accusatory finger at his chest. "You agreed to come with me, you hypocrite!"
Issei pointed right back. "Because you dragged me through the front doors by my collar!"
"You still went all the way to the mountains and fought that monster with your own two feet!"
Miya’s eye twitched with rhythmically mounting irritation while the rest of the room fought a losing battle against their laughter.
Tamamo finally brought a silken sleeve up to her mouth, letting out a soft, delighted giggle. "Oh dear, Issei... perhaps you should stop digging your own grave while you still have room to breathe."
"I'm trying! I'm really trying here!" Issei squeaked.
Miya took another measured step, closing the distance between them until her shadow completely engulfed the two mages. "And did you complete this unauthorized S-Class mission?"
Issei offered a tiny, microscopic nod. "...Yes."
"And did you immediately return to the guild hall to report your status to your Master and face your responsibilities?"
Dead silence filled the hallway.
Miya's sweet, terrifying smile returned in full force. "...No. You did not."
Issei’s shoulders sagged in utter defeat. "We... we were planning on going back..."
"When, exactly?"
"...Eventually?"
Karasuba shrugged her shoulders with stubborn defiance. "Whenever the old man stopped crying about it."
Miya leveled an icy, piercing glare at both of them. Then, slowly, she closed her eyes, drew in a long, measured breath, and let out a gentle sigh that sounded entirely too calm. "Very well."
Every single danger sensor in Issei’s dragon-enhanced body began screaming at maximum volume. "M-Miya...?"
"Yes, dear?" She asked sweetly, opening her eyes.
"You're... you're not going to do anything too extreme, right? We're already bruised from fighting a giant golem..."
Miya’s smile turned almost angelic in its purity. "Oh, heavens no. Don't worry yourself for even a second. I would never dream of doing anything unreasonable to my beloved family."
Issei let out a tiny, naive sigh of relief. "R-Really? Oh, thank goodness—"
"Of course."
In a motion so blindingly fast that neither the Red Dragon Emperor nor the Black Sekirei could react, Miya’s hands shot forward like iron vices. Her fingers locked firmly onto Issei’s left ear and Karasuba’s right ear, twisting them with pinpoint martial precision.
"OW OW OW OW OW! MIYA, WAIT! MERCY!" Issei shrieked, instantly doubling over as he was yanked forward.
"Tch—! Let go, you old hag! That actually hurts—OW!" Karasuba hissed through gritted teeth, forced down onto her tiptoes by the sheer leverage of the grip.
"Now then," Miya said with pleasant, cheerful grace, not breaking her stride for a single moment as she hoisted both troublemakers off their balance and began dragging them down the long corridor toward the secluded back courtyard, far away from where little Sakura’s innocent eyes could watch. "Let us have a proper, thorough discussion regarding guild regulations, safety protocols, and basic common sense."
"GAHHH! MY EAR IS GOING TO TEAR OFF!"
"ISSEI, USE YOUR DRAGON FIRE ON HER!"
"ARE YOU INSANE?! SHE'LL KILL US BOTH FOR REAL!"
Behind them in the foyer, Tamamo, Uzume, Matsu, Yuuka, Misuki, Miki, Gorou, Sakura, Ruby, Akitsu, and Totomaru stood together in comfortable amusement, watching in peaceful silence as Miya calmly escorted the two bruised heroes deeper into the mansion to receive their well-earned punishment.
—-----------------------------
Issei, now dressed in a loose pair of comfortable night clothes, trudged slowly down the quiet hallway of the mansion.
He rubbed his aching backside with a grimace, streams of comical tears flowed from his eyes as he cursed just how utterly ruthless Miya could be when dishing out discipline. To make matters infinitely worse, Karasuba had been dismissed early, leaving Issei alone to endure an agonizingly detailed, hours-long lecture on responsibility and safety.
And the absolute worst part? The ultimate penalty she handed down: he was officially banned from attending the upcoming Miss Fairy Tail Beauty Contest.
Issei slumped forward in despair, his soul practically leaving his body through his mouth. 'No... my sacred paradise...' That meant missing out on the Fairy Tail girls strutting across the stage in revealing bikinis! He would miss the glorious, unobstructed view of Erza, Lucy, Mirajane, and Cana's magnificent, bouncing oppai! Truly, in all of Earthland, there was no crueler, more tragic punishment Miya could have possibly devised for him.
Letting out a heavy, defeated sigh, Issei finally reached his bedroom and quietly turned the doorknob. "Man, what a day..."
The door swung open and Issei froze dead in his tracks.
Sitting casually on the edge of his bed was Karasuba. She was dressed only in a short, silky black yukata that left little to the imagination. Having clearly just stepped out of the bath, her damp, grey hair clung gently to her neck and shoulders, glistening faintly in the soft moonlight filtering through the window. The thin, moisture-soaked fabric stuck closely to her slender, lethal curves, leaving her long, porcelain legs completely exposed from the midthigh down.
A hot, teasing breath escaped Karasuba's parted lips as her predatory grey eyes locked onto him. "You took long enough, Ashikabi-sama."
Issei's heart hammered in his chest, his earlier depression instantly evaporating into thin air. Swallowing the dry lump in his throat, he quickly stepped inside and shut the door behind him with a quiet click. He was no virgin, he knew exactly where this was heading.
"Karasuba..." Issei stammered, his cheeks flushing red. "Are... are you sure you're okay? Between the Earth Titan attacking us, the bone guy impaling you with those spears and whatever Miya did to you earlier..."
Karasuba let out a soft, amused scoff, leaning back slightly on her hands as the hem of her yukata rode up just a fraction higher. "Tamamo tended to my wounds with her healing spells the moment I left the courtyard. I'm completely fine."
Her gaze darkened with a heated, hungry intensity, the faint scent of floral bath oils and feminine warmth washing over the room. "Besides... our date isn't over yet. After a glorious, blood-pumping slaughter, there's only one proper way to bring the night to a close."
She rose from the bed with fluid, feline grace, taking slow, deliberate steps toward him. The sway of her hips was pure, calculated temptation, her bare feet making no sound against the wooden floorboards.
"Now," she purred, stopping mere inches from his chest and reaching up to grasp the collar of his shirt. "Take responsibility for getting all that blood flowing."
Before Issei could manage a single word in reply, Karasuba pulled him down and captured his mouth in a fierce, passionate kiss.
Issei’s hands instinctively found her waist, pulling her slender frame flush against him as their lips moved together with breathless, escalating fervor. Her tongue slipped past his lips, hot and demanding, instantly rekindling the wild, fiery adrenaline from their battle atop the mountain into a completely different kind of heat.
Issei groaned into the kiss, his hands sliding from her waist down to the swell of her hips, squeezing the soft flesh through the thin silk of her yukata. The frustration of Miya’s punishment and the lingering ache in his rear were completely forgotten, replaced by the electric current surging through his groin. He could feel Karasuba’s heart hammering against his chest, her breathing becoming ragged and shallow as she pressed her body firmly against his.
Karasuba broke the kiss just enough to trail her lips down his jawline, her teeth grazing his skin in a playful, predatory nip. "You're shaking, Ashikabi-sama," She whispered, her voice a low, sultry vibrate against his neck. "Is the thought of me making you forget all about those Fairy Tail girls that exciting?"
Issei let out a choked sound, his grip tightening on her. "You're... you're a demon," he managed to gasp, though he was already fumbling with the tie of her yukata.
With a deft movement, Karasuba helped him, the silk knot sliding loose. She stepped back just an inch, letting the garment slip off her shoulders. The black fabric slid down her porcelain skin like a waterfall, pooling around her ankles and leaving her completely naked in the moonlight.
Issei's breath hitched. She was a masterpiece of lethal elegance. Her breasts were firm and perfectly shaped, topped with erect nipples that peaked in the cool night air. Her waist tapered sharply into wide, inviting hips, and the grey hair cascading down her back framed the curve of her toned ass. Between her thighs, a neatly groomed patch of grey hair guarded a glistening, swollen slit that was already weeping with arousal.
"Don't just stare," Karasuba purred, reaching down to grasp the front of Issei's loose trousers. She didn't hesitate, sliding her hand inside to wrap her fingers around his hard, throbbing cock. "Look at how much you want me."
Issei let out a loud moan, his head snapping back as she began to stroke him with a firm, rhythmic grip. The sensation was overwhelming; the contrast of her cool fingers and the heat of his own arousal sent sparks through his spine. He reached out, grabbing her breasts and kneading them roughly, his thumbs flicking over her nipples.
Karasuba arched her back, a sharp gasp escaping her lips. She leaned in, her tongue darting out to lick the shell of his ear. "I want to feel you inside me... I want you to fill me up until I can't think of anything but you."
She pushed him back toward the bed, and Issei fell onto the mattress with a heavy thud, pulling her down on top of him. Karasuba straddled his lap, her wet pussy grinding slowly against the bulge in his pants. The friction was agonizingly perfect. Issei quickly stripped out of his clothes, tossing them aside until he was bare, his cock springing free, red-hot and leaking a bead of pre-cum.
Karasuba looked down at him, her grey eyes wide with hunger. She reached down, guiding the head of his cock to her opening. She let out a long, shaky breath as she slowly lowered herself, the tight walls of her pussy stretching to accommodate his girth.
"Nngh... so big..." She whimpered, her face flushing a deep red, she greatly enjoyed the pain of her first time. She then sank down inch by inch, her internal muscles clamping tight around him, milking him with every millimeter she descended. When she finally bottomed out, her pelvis slamming against his, she let out a loud, piercing cry of pleasure, her head falling onto his shoulder.
Issei didn't give her time to recover. He gripped her hips, tilting her pelvis up to get a deeper angle, and began to thrust upward with powerful, disciplined strokes. Slap. Slap. Slap. The sound of their flesh colliding filled the quiet room.
Karasuba was a whirlwind of passion, her nails digging into Issei's shoulders as she rode him with frantic energy. She bounced on him, her small breasts swinging wildly, her pussy gripping his cock like a vice. Every thrust hit her G-spot, sending waves of ecstasy through her body that made her toes curl and her vision blur.
"Yes! Right there! Fuck me harder, Issei!" she screamed, abandoning all pretense of composure.
Issei groaned, his pace accelerating into a blurring frenzy. He flipped her over in one fluid motion, pinning her to the bed on her hands and knees. He looked down at the sight of her pale, rounded ass shaking with every movement, and he couldn't resist. He reached forward, slapping her cheek hard, the sound echoing in the room.
Karasuba let out a loud, needy moan, her back arching. Issei lunged forward, burying his cock deep into her from behind. He hammered into her, his balls slapping against her perineum, driving himself into her as deep as possible. He could feel her insides pulsing, her pussy twitching around him as she neared her peak.
"I'm... I'm going to...!" Karasuba wailed, her voice breaking.
Issei felt the pressure building in his own loins, the climax hitting him like a tidal wave. He gave one final, devastating thrust, burying himself to the hilt, and let out a guttural roar as he erupted. He pumped load after load of thick, hot cum deep into her womb, filling her to the brim.
Karasuba collapsed onto the sheets, her body shaking with the aftershocks of a powerful orgasm, her pussy clamping down on him in rhythmic spasms that squeezed every last drop of seed from his cock.
As they lay there, tangled together and drenched in sweat, Issei felt a profound sense of peace. The beauty contest was a distant memory; as far as he was concerned, he already had the most beautiful woman in the world right here in his arms.
The room then turned silent save for the distant chirp of night insects and the soft, wet sounds of his cock slowly sliding out of Karasuba’s drenched pussy. As he withdrew, a thick string of pearly white cum leaked from her opening, trailing down her inner thigh and staining the sheets.
Karasuba rolled onto her side, her grey eyes still hazy with pleasure, a small, triumphant smirk playing on her lips. She reached out, her slender fingers tracing the line of Issei's jaw. "You look... completely satisfied, Ashikabi-sama," She purred, her voice raspy.

As the adrenaline faded, the lingering soreness in Issei's backside, the parting gift from Miya—made itself known again as he shifted. He winced, a small groan escaping his lips.
Karasuba noticed immediately. Her eyes glinted with a sudden, mischievous spark. She shifted her weight, propping herself up on one elbow and looking down at him with a predatory curiosity. "Still hurting from Miya-sama's discipline, are we?"
Issei blushed. "It was... a very thorough lesson."
Karasuba’s smile widened, becoming something more feline. "You know, as your loyal Sekirei, it is my duty to ensure your complete recovery. And since Miya was so... rigorous... perhaps you need a different kind of attention to soothe the pain."
Before Issei could ask what she meant, Karasuba slid down his body. She didn't stop until her face was level with his groin. He felt his cock, which had only just begun to soften, twitch and harden again under her intense gaze. She didn't go for the shaft immediately; instead, she shifted her focus, her tongue darting out to lick her lips as she looked toward his rear.
"Wait, Karasuba, what are you—"
She didn't answer with words. Instead, she flipped him over with surprising strength, pressing his chest into the mattress and lifting his hips. Issei gasped, feeling the cool night air hit his exposed backside. He felt her warm breath against his skin, and then, a sudden, wet sensation.
Karasuba began to lick him. Her tongue was warm and rough, swirling around the tender, reddened skin of his cheeks and dipping delicately into the tight pucker of his anus. Issei let out a strangled cry, his fingers gripping the bedsheets. The sensation was an electric shock—a mixture of lingering pain and an overwhelming, forbidden pleasure that sent a jolt straight to his cock.
"Nnngh... Karasuba! Stop... or don't stop!" Issei stammered, his mind racing.
"Shh," she whispered against his skin, her voice vibrating through him. "Just relax for me."
She used her tongue with expert precision, probing the entrance of his hole, tasting the salt of his sweat and the lingering heat of his punishment. As she worked, she reached around with one hand, gripping his hard cock and stroking it in sync with the rhythmic laps of her tongue.
Issei was caught in a pincer attack of pleasure. The stimulation of his prostate through the wall of his rectum, combined with the friction on his shaft, pushed him toward a second peak far faster than the first. He began to thrust his hips back into her mouth, craving the pressure.
Karasuba sensed his desperation. She shifted, sliding two slender, lubricated fingers deep inside him. Issei let out a loud, guttural moan, his back arching as she hit his sweet spot. She began to pump her fingers in and out, mimicking the motion of a cock, while her other hand worked his shaft with a frantic, tight grip.
"You're so tight, Issei... so reactive," she moaned, her voice muffled against his backside.
The intensity built until Issei couldn't take it anymore. He let out a loud, shaking scream as he climaxed for the second time, his cum spraying across the sheets in thick, hot bursts. At the same moment, Karasuba gave one final, deep thrust of her fingers, sending a wave of pleasure through him that left him completely limp and trembling.
She withdrew her fingers with a wet pop and crawled back up his body, collapsing on top of him once more. She licked a stray drop of sweat from his neck, her expression one of pure, possessive satisfaction.
"There," she whispered, nipping his earlobe. "Now we’re even."
Issei lay catching his breath for a handful of seconds, the erratic rise and fall of his chest gradually steadying. But as his strength rushed back, a deep, primal heat flared to life within him. His dragon instincts surged, his eyes flashing with a bright, predatory green sheen.
He wasn't about to let her hold all the control.
With his strength fully restored, Issei surged up, grabbing Karasuba by the waist and flipping her beneath him. He spun her onto her stomach, pressing her face down into the pillows while lifting her hips to meet him. Before she could voice her amusement, he aligned his hard, demanding length with her wet, waiting entrance and thrust inside in one decisive, possessive stroke, setting a relentless, commanding rhythm that filled the quiet bedroom with the sharp echo of their colliding bodies.
Done. Tell me what you think and if I made any mistakes. Honestly Karasuba would find a way to be the dominant member during sex.
