Hi Domi. Calvary (as opposed to cavalry) was the place, outside Jerusalem, where Jesus was supposedly crucified. I'm not sure what it refers to specifically in that episode.

Faith has changed. Wes has too. And now he’s actually an effective watcher to her.

It also meant skull, I thought it was a reference to the skull they used in that fake ritual to re-en soul Angelus

This is the first time Andy Hallett was in the opening credits. Long overdue in my opinion

Connor is human, but he was conceived by two vampires, and vampires are demons. What other explanation can there be for the anti-demon spell working?

Ron Fehr

Did you ever notice that whenever Connor is having doubts, fake Cordelia always brings up the baby to keep him on her side?

Ron Fehr

I actually saw something about the quake on YouTube after I had already read your post.

More specifically, I'd say Connor is mortal but not just a normal human. He's definitely in superhuman territory. And yes, the demon parentage theory makes the most sense to me.

It can also mean any experience of intense suffering. I.e., If you call in the calvary, you've just asked for someone to send "an experience of intense suffering". I interpret it as the suffering through which Faith is willing to go in order to bring back Angel.

You might be interested to know that Lexi had the same thought, about the possibility of Faith being turned by Angelus. Well, you'll have to wait for the next episode to find out where this storyline is going. You gotta admit that this was a great cliffhanger, wouldn't you agree? It definitely makes one want to keep watching Angel.

I get the feeling that whenever you hear or say the word 'faith' now, you can't help but think about Faith.
