I love the contrast of Wesley telling Fred "It's not always about holding hands" (great line, btw) and Gwen hoping to just be able to do exactly that.

Yes! Honestly one of my favorite lines from Wesley, or even from the show. Relationships can be very messy, but sometimes they just happen without one realizing, and rarely is it perfect idealized fantasy that we want it to be.

I feel like Gunn wrecked Gwen, like a wrecking ball to drywall - Cordelia’s outfits look expensive but if you have any ‘dark cordy’ efforts that would be amazing. Ben edlund was executive producer on this one and it has it touch all over it the guy is a out there genius (he wrote SPN episodes too) Resume crash positions

I know that there are some people that don’t like the timing of this episode but I think it’s a solid episode and a needed breather between the Angelous arc and the J****** arc (redacted to avoid spoilers) that ends the season. I love Gwen, she’s so much fun and her chemistry with Gunn is great. There’s good twists in this and a solid heist. I like it.

I just wonder how the gang was able to set the trap to catch fake Cordelia. Had the plan already been made before Lorne entered the room to deliver the 'good news' about recovering his empathetic ability? Was the lobby scene just an act to entice evil Cordy to kill Lorne?
