It was the second time I saw Shiny Happy People that I noticed Stoler (Sam Witwer’s character) saw Jasmine’s true face because he was clawed by the same vampire that dug its nails into her arm. That kiss seemed out of nowhere, but Fred was trying to see if the followers would pass them by if they were just a random couple in a public display of affection, which unfortunately didn’t work.

I don't know if you understood Jasmine's reference to Oswald acting alone (when talking to the store owner). She was talking about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. There have always been theories that others wanted to get rid of Kennedy, and used Lee Harvey Oswald as a scapegoat.

Fred's exposure to the supernatural was definitely to her benefit. When going up to her motel room, she instantly knew to back away when that couple stared at her. To a normal person, he or she would've thought nothing of it.
