The Value of Life

I love this show so much, I hope you keep reacting to it. I had the dvd set many years ago, but before I finished it I loaned it out to someone and never got it back. So to this day I've never seen the 2nd half of season 2. So if you ever get that far, I'll be watching it for the first time with you.

There are two scenes in this episode that really stuck with me and I have no idea why. :) The first one is the when god tells Joan to build the boat and Joan wants a more world-saving task. The reply that last time he asked it was one makes my smile every time. The second one being Luke's reaction seeing the parts fit together when it is clear that Joan has no idea what she is doing. It rubs me the wrong way when colleagues are clearly executing a task wrong but achieve the right outcome. (especially when I later realise that what they did was correct :D ). But I love that Kevin later explains that the boat would never have stayed afloat. So, Joan really is just a teenager trying her best to figure things out.
