The show has a hypnotic feel to it with the intro music and the slow build-up of the story that I really like. And the fact that all types of parents are involved (from abuser to the peace-loving ones) makes you really distrust everyone. To me this somehow invokes a claustrophobic kind of feeling about who should we avoid / ask for help? Also, this series is still very engaging even though I know this time where the story goes. Good show, looking forward to the next episode :)

It’s also interesting to compare to the comics once you’re through the show. Due to some of the changes made the show has both a similar and quite different feel to the comics.
