From what I can see, you're the one being condescending and mean

Todd Bolton

I, too, am very disappointed but there is no reason to consider it the motivation that you are obviously claiming it to be. Maybe you haven't watched her reactions before. I do think she's blinded by the romantic couples that she "ships" - and in this case, she's blinded by her Jenny Calendar love, and misses the sadness of the scene when Olivia obviously will not risk things to any longer be with Giles. It would seem that she would trust the writers of the show, just as she trusts them, sight unseen, for Willow's and Tara's relationship. That's what I don't get but your obvious accusation of racism is unfounded (and ugly).

Michael

Wow you really don’t like interracial relationships

Whisper_dvm

LOVING the new background! That Giles/Jenny poster is everything! <3 Off to watch the reaction...

Steve Quast

TWO HOURS???? Somebody definitely did not Hush!

Anitusar

Definitely the right episode for a new start ... HELLO TARA :D Yes, you found her, someone is excited :)

Chris Warner

Regarding episode titles, the reactors version of the watchlist has removed the spoiler titles.

Richard Ashton

If it’s not to late, react with the lights on low…

Steve Quast

"Riley is the love interest of the season" *Domi makes a face* My sentiments exactly.

Richard Ashton

Your Room With A View seems relatively free of cockroaches and hardly any ghosts. Congrats!

Chas Summers

So you're excited about Tara? lol

Whisper_dvm

Didn’t seem like she noticed her at all… 😆

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

1) Of all the Domi intros that was the Domi-est intro to ever Domi. Probably the Domi-est reaction, periodt. 2) Unpopular opinion across the fanbase (and this will probably sound more sarcastic than it's intended) Riley and Buffy seem happy together, maybe we could just be happy for them?? 3) Top tier episode, top tier reaction as usual

Steve Quast

*Riley trapped in an elevator* Domi: Please die! Savage lol

FernWithy

I love how well they introduce Tara here--insecure in the group, but smart, a problem-solver, perceptive about Willow's power, and practical (dropping her books and running like hell instead of trying to carry them and slowing herself down). And of course, magically powerful. No lines, and such a solid presentation. Buffy/Riley, on the other hand. Sigh. I actually want to root for them, I do. I was never much of a Bangel girl, and I'd love to see a different relationship. But the shilling of this ship gets so aggressive--every character telling them that they need to get going, the idea that it's going to be a super-serious ship... it just make me want to rebel against it because I hate being *told* how to feel.

Loves Bitca

The Wicca group isn't really non-witches pretending they are witches. They don't really know about actual witches and supernatural stuff. Wicca as kind of a spiritual religion (low key) exists for real. There are likely clubs on some campuses. My niece at least used to be Wiccan. Don't know if she still identifies as such. It is more or less like this group. It's a lot about women power. They don't really believe in magic or casting spells, other than the concept of you get back the energy that you put out in the world. So some do believe that there are "spells" but it's all unseen. No floating pencils or anything. Just like a spell for good fortune. This group is like that and think witches are fictional.

Steve Quast

"Either she's evil or she's gonna die." Shiny Actics literally just said the same thing about a character on Supernatural yesterday lol.

ThatGuy11200

You should wear your glasses if they will help you see the episode better. Don't worry about reflections. We can see palm trees in Alley's glasses. It doesn't matter to us.

Richard Ashton

“A movie so full of action and little dialogue” - like Rambo?

Richard Ashton

A bunch of “Wanna Blessed Be’s”.

ThatGuy11200

It was a very understated reaction to Tara. Very subtle. It was almost a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reaction. 😆

Anitusar

I am sorry, who does not like Arrival. It is such a clever film ...

Dave Ford

Goodness, why would anyone judge you for being a fan of 'Arrival' - it's a brilliant movie. I am judging you for your Olivia hate though - enough with that, she's not done anything to deserve the hate!

Jeffrey

Arrival is much better the 2nd time, IMHO. I cried more the 2nd time. Still cried the 3rd time.

Foamy

Not in my top 5. In my top 10 though, I'm not nuts.

Loves Bitca

"That is so gay" Yet at the time people didn't see it. Looking back it's so obvious. Tara is THE BEST even without the importance of being the first prominent gay couple on tv.

Antonio

Poor Olivia. Poor Riley. Just...wow! I'll be setting up a gofundme for both of them to help get over their total beatdown from Domi after this episode. Don't expect it to make very much, but someone needs to be there for them.

Loves Bitca

Domi will not be happy unless Giles dies alone.

GaveUp

Did she? Many people are named Tara.

Anitusar

I do not think the Buffy-writers are brave enough to present domi a false Tara, but the reaction would be something ...

Loves Bitca

Xander is more mature now, but that "Let's define our relationship" talk is always rough.

Melissa Murphy

I love your reactions but I 'll admit, your reaction to Olivia annoyed me a little, I mean its been almost two years since Jenny, is Giles just supposed to be single the rest of his life? I actually like her

Loves Bitca

They've discussed Slayer Visions before. They're a bit inconsistent, but I believe that was a version of the Slayer Vision when Buffy had the dream.

seekingoutfriday

Especially because I think he's worried about her reaction to his answer. If it's anything short of "I love you", even an "I care about you a lot", Anya may react negatively, because it's Anya, so I do think he was worried about that too.

indaeo

I feel like I missed something. I have no idea why there was so much hate for Olivia in this reaction at all. Is it just a Jenny thing? Because Olivia seems perfectly lovely and smart and Giles seems to really like her. But the hate for her here was a lot to take in.

Vicky N

I am sorry but the hostility towards Olivia was a little hard to take. You can be Jenny for ever all you like, but please try to refrain to call her a bitch just for being on the screen. You also can’t compare her reaction to the revelation of what happens in this universe to Jenny’s. Jenny was already in the know before she met Giles and she was actually hiding the true about herself and deceiving everyone. I didn’t want to say anything at first because you have the right to react anyway you like, and I certainly wouldn’t want you to cater to other people feelings, but I had a sense of unease that I couldn’t shake watching this reaction. I apologize if I overstepped.

Vicky N

Especially for Olivia, she really did nothing to deserve it

Bri

Yeah, I'm kinda baffled! I thought these two visits with Olivia gave us the impression of an adult, easy familiarity between them. It seems to be a very different vibe from what he had with Jenny, but he's very different now. He's experienced a lot since then. I was really pleased to meet Olivia, partly because I was grateful for any iota of happiness for Giles, but also in part because interracial relationships were not often presented so casually then.

Bri

Loved your excitement about Tara! 🥳😍🥰 The scene with Willow and the hand-holding was marvellously and wonderfully gay!

Foamy

What is up with the hate lately with these reactors and new characters? Jeez. It really bums me out. I completely get it.

Foamy

Didn't get that at all. Almost ruined the entire reaction.

Justafox305

There is a guy named Kevin Williamson. He wrote the Scream movies, the first 3 seasons of the vampire diaries, etc. he made a tv show called Dawson’s creek. It’s his autobiography. He’s both Dawson (teen who dreamed of making movies) & another character (boy who acted macho but was secretly gay)combined. That show featured the first passionate gay kiss in tv history. I believed it aired around the same time as Buffy.

Samiah

I remember being upset about Olivia when I first watched season 4 too because she basically comes out of nowhere and all of a sudden was sleeping with our favorite father figure. I don’t think it has anything to do with Olivia or not liking her, specifically. We barely know anything about her at this point. It’s just, we aren’t ready for Giles to move on. It’s like Buffy’s reaction to Ted. Doesn’t matter how many years go by, nobody can replace Buffy’s dad just like nobody can replace our mama Jenny! I don’t think you did or said anything wrong, Domi. This was a great reaction and your reaction to Tara every time she was on the screen gave me life. I was marching in your Pride parade! Thank you for the amazing content.

Daniel Schlösser

I think the reason why Domi didn't like Oliva is that she was introduced very poorly. We don't know anythimg about her background, she is there and that we are told to buy it. Well, she didn't do anything wrong, but honestly she was kind of boring. The expectation that she will stay longer or join the group doesn't comfort you, I totally understand it.

Daniel Schlösser

And please compare her introduction with Tara. This was so well made, first subtile and then growing. And Domi waited for her such a long time, even from the beginning,. I understand why she doesn't like the interruption with this strange new relationship.

Nicholas Corgan

I'm paused and almost done with her intro before the actual episode starts, and I find myself regretting looking at the comments. Is the Riley and Olivia hate really that pervasive throughout the episode? This is one of those episodes where I always look forward to the reaction, but I wonder if I'll just be bummed out continuing.

Foamy

It's awful. Especially the hate towards Olivia.

Nicholas Corgan

That's a shame. Thanks for the heads-up.

Foamy

Yw. I'm sorry.

Rey

What I don't like is character hate for no reason and especially when it's incessantly throughout the episode. I haven't watched her reaction yet but I don't know if I want to. I might end up commenting something really harsh and negative! Maybe to quote Cordelia, maybe she needs to spank her inner moppet and get over it

Iarna

All this. My wife participated for a bit in one of these long ago when she was in college -- it was the first place she met anyone else who was remotely out. Though, as I understand it, spells and ritual would be more akin to christians who believe in the power of prayer -- they do believe they can have real material effects on the world, but the effects are generally subtle and often internal to the caster.

GaveUp

It’s a reaction. Person A has a different reaction than you. Oh well get over it and move the fsck on. Maybe ask yourself why you’re so vehemently opposed to how some other person reacts rather than bitch about how awful a raw reaction is.

Foamy

How about explaining why ANYONE would call a character a name like that when that character did nothing wrong?

R J Walker (FumblesMcStupid)

I'm so glad the hype wasn't over hype :D And apparently some new character showed up ;) I really love the communication issues in this one. Buffy and Riley only seem to be able to communicate well when they can't talk, same with Xander and Anya. Giles and Oliva don't say much and it's hard to say of it gets better when they can't talk to each other. And you're so right (and I'd never really thought about it before), Willow and Tara properly meet each other when they can't speak and yet totally click. I doubt I caught that on first watch. It's interesting watching somebody who has already heard of them. For me this is scary, funny, AND advances characters so this will always be one of my favourite episodes. So glad you're back :D

Ron Fehr

Of course any computerized voices work. Computers don't have vocal chords.

Iarna

I dunno, as much as I liked Jenny when she was on the show, by the time I got to Season 4, she wasn't on my mind any more. I thought Giles/Olivia was adorable, but I guess I wasn't that invested in any Buffyverse relationship beyond Willow/Tara. I do gotta say that keeping your disbelief in the claims of the supernatural made by your friend/love interest is _not_ gas lighting. Conflict avoidant? Maybe. Just being polite? Seems like.

Steve Quast

I don't normally comment on Olivia, but I will say that I neither like nor dislike the character. The show doesn't really give me a reason to feel strongly about her one way or the other, as she's just sort of there. As much as I miss Jenny, though, I do like the idea of Giles moving on. He deserves some happiness, too, and Jenny would want it that way. RIP Jenny.

Thom Purdy

I love Olivia! She's smart, beautiful, and has a cool relationship with Giles. We know that they are friends from before he moved to SD to be Watcher. I am very curious what Olivia has done to warrant the vehement hate.

Loves Bitca

The show aired around the same time, but the gay kiss episode didn't happen until late 2000. So it was later than this point in the show. It is important though that this was around the time that things started to break down those barriers. Unfortunately with a lot of backlash. A lot of it wasn't so much what the writers were willing to do, but what the networks would allow too. Some networks were becoming more progressive, while others weren't.

Loves Bitca

I wouldn't necessarily say she was introduced poorly. Only because at least at this point she's not a prominent character. We don't know anything about her, but we don't really need to at this point. There's really no reason to like or dislike her, because we don't know enough. To me it's like saying that Jonathon or even Oz were introduced poorly. We knew nothing about either. Less than nothing about Jonathon. We didn't need to though because they weren't prominent characters at the time. Jonathon became a recurring extra, which isn't much less than Olivia is right now. Oz became a major character, but we were fed information about him over time.

Loves Bitca

I don't get the hate directed at Domi. I like Olivia, and I would argue that Domi needs to let Giles move on. I disagree greatly with her opinion of Olivia, but I'm fine with her sticking to that opinion too. It's agree to disagree. Yes, Domi went a little over the top with it, but that's kind of her schtick. She's purposely exaggerating her opinion. Just like she didn't really want Riley to die in the elevator. There's a few times that she's done the "I'm going to stick to this mood and take it to 11". I'm disappointed that commenters have taken it so personally.

Daniel Schlösser

We have seen Oz a few times before he really met Willow. We knew he was the cool-guitar-band boy wo already startet to like Willow before they met (Inca Mummy Girl, Halloween etc.). We've also seen Jonathon as the unsecure loser guy in many episodes (What's my line, Go fish, The wish etc.). Which was a great buildup for earshot. Compared to this we have seen Olivia once, I think in The freshmen. She was there as Giles' love interest without any introduction or without ineraction with other people. In my opinion thats poor, but I don't mean it as a critic. I don't want to spoil, but there was no need to.

Rey

Maybe it can be off-putting. Making the experience less enjoyable

Steve Quast

Domi is nothing if not passionate about the way she feels about things.

Loves Bitca

It'll be okay. The trauma will pass soon enough. You'll probably need a few years of therapy, but it getss better. It gets better. I'm sure Domi didn't realize that the fictional character was the mother that raised you.

KT

The Gentlemen were actually played by different people, but the "main" Gentleman that they focus on the most is played by Doug Jones, who plays just about every monster role out there it seems. Fish guy in the Shape of Water, Fauno/Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth, and Billy in Hocus Pocus are the top 3 roles of his that I've seen, but he's been in hundreds of things. Fair warning if you're ever talking to a reactor that's around where you're at in the series: most people do not catch on this early that there's something going on between Willow and Tara, even queer reactors. Some may comment on the vibes they're picking up and that they ship them in a fanfic-y kind of way, but no one believes a network show from 1999 aimed at teens would ever have one of their most beloved main characters doing anything canonically gay.

Loves Bitca

I got a real kick out of Shan's (after show reaction's) reaction to all the little hints dropped. She'd pause, cock her head, ponder for a second then "Nah" and then move on. And of course more recently Alley's was good. She kept picking up on things but wasn't sure if it was real or if it was just her hopes.

Rey

You mad about the facts!? Watching someone gripe and bitch about character isn't pleasant. You even acknowledged it LOL. Get outta here 🤣

Rey

Also is this coming from someone who probably cries when a fictional character dies?

Loves Bitca

I didn't post anything that expressed madness. That's you projecting. You're all mad making mad posts, and then I tell you it will be okay, and you say that I'm the one who is mad, in your next mad post. Again, I am sorry that she insulted someone that was a close personal relative of yours, but years of therapy and you'll be fine. The trauma is almost over. It'll be okay.

Loves Bitca

Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. It'll be okay. It'll be okay. *rocks rey gently* It'll be okay.

KT

Yeah people (including me) tend to intentionally repress any hope they have for representation because they've been let down too many times. It's both sad to watch, because it makes you painfully aware of how fucked our society is, and delightful to watch, because we are secure in the knowledge that yes, that was some gay hand-holding and gay vending-machine-moving. It's something I'm always super excited for reactors to get to. But it's extra exciting to have someone already be spoiled on Tillow and to see her delight in every moment Tara is on screen.

Loves Bitca

I admit, I had a tough time with Alley questioning if she was getting "queer baited". I SO wanted to let her know that she wasn't imagining things and that they were definitely a gay couple and also the best couple ever. But I held off from even hinting at spoilers.

CeNedra

I've had a horrible day but I got in from work and you've uploaded Hush!! You've made it all better 😍

Rey

I'm sorry that someone who I guess raised you is being criticized with people's opinions. Oops

Loves Bitca

Sh, sh, sh. You want a loli? A loli? Will that help? WILL SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A LOLIPOP??!!! He's having a melt down. Please someone help him.

Rey

Ooh what a comeback. I would like a lolli what flavor do you have?

Shandler

I am all in on Domi rebelling against the new step mom. I mean I quite like Olivia but watching Domi absolutely reject her and everything she stands for is hilarious.

Ron Fehr

Giles' drawing of Buffy was the best ever. NOT!!

Ron Fehr

I felt the same way about Anya eating popcorn. Violent images didn't bother her one bit. Hilarious.

Ron Fehr

I'm not exactly sure why Olivia was needed for this episode either. About the only thing that she contributed was a fairly accurate drawing of one of the Gentlemen.

Svetlana Grabar

I like that it shows that Giles has a life outside of being the watcher. They also might have included her so that Spike stayed with Xander instead of Giles, though there were probably other ways to do it.

Richard Ashton

The gap between Jenny and Olivia was only months for Domi. When I watched it it was two years gap. Hooking up after such a long time was more of a relief for me. Giles is human!

Scarlet

I love how much amusement you get from the gentlemen! They're definitely my fave Buffy monsters and they're such fun too. So fun to see your excitement about Tara too and laugh at your attitude with Riley. I like Olivia but it was fun to see you have fun theorizing about her. Don't worry about what a lot of other commenters have been saying there, you're allowed to think about the characters however you want otherwise it wouldn't be a reaction! I also didn't really like Jenny so that probably helps with that. :P

Stewart Denew

As a standalone, I think it's up there with Doctor Who's "Blink" & "The Doctor's Wife", a real favourite. Your knowledge of how things are much later makes your predictions even more fun when the twists & turns come along :) Giles getting some loving :) Good to show that he's got a life outside of the gang & it's implied that it's a friends with benefits thing rather than a full blown relationship, also I suspect the choice of casting might partly have been in answer to the lack of cast diversity. I nearly spat out my drink at the "blamed on a flu vaccination" bit, considering current events. The 2 gentlemen showing up at the door just makes me think "hello, we'd like to talk to you about our lord and saviour..." :) Probably some of the most outright creepy bad guys, the whole thing with the sharp suits & oh so polite mannerisms is fantastically done - also no, they never explain what those hearts were actually for. Gotta love Tara, she sees something happening, hits the research & the seeks out the other person she's noticed who's given some indication of maybe being able to do something about the situation so clearly, she's a good person & has good instincts. Seems that you like Tara too, though I'm surprised how understated you managed to stay about it. The music in the scene when Giles is giving the slideshow is Danse Macabre & it's the theme tune to Johnathan Creek, a British detective mystery series with a wide comedic streak that ASH was in the pilot episode for, it's definitely worth checking out, with Alan Davies (regular panelist on QI) as the title character alongside Caroline Quentin who's a brilliant actress.

R J Walker (FumblesMcStupid)

Everything about this gives me great joy tbh but most especially the mad scrambling to get the pride flag every time Tara was on screen...I even found myself thinking 'quick, you're gonna need that flag in a minute'. And you're right, the flaily guys are scarier than the Gentlemen, although I find them pretty creepy too. The combination of the stillness of the Gentlemen, and the frenetic movements of their lackies is what makes it for me. Worst moment, when you can see them behind Tara before she's noticed. It's shot beautifully. Cleverest moment, when Tara opens the door and you think it's Willow but SURPRISE, it ain't lol Apparently it was all practical effects that took FOREVER to work out how to do. Also tbh, fav line...'an orgasm friend?' 🤣

Bri

I have the 'Buffy will patrol tonight' t-shirt, and it's lush!

Bri

Loved Jonathan Creek back in the day! And Giles is a dramatic bitch for having the music playing during his presentation, and I'm here for it- and his choice of song!

zerofk

You know I never realised that she dropped her books. Obviously that is the right thing to do, but having that presence of mind in a time of panic like that is amazing!

zerofk

So I guess you didn't really feel this episode eh... Oh well. :-P Your reaction to Tara's introduction was amazing! But tell me Domi, how exactly do you go from creepy silent monsters cutting out people's hearts to the little mermaid? I admit I don't know that story too well, but I don't see the link.

GenU

So, what do you think of Buffyland after 72 days away?

FernWithy

Well, it was more that she'd already dropped them, but ceased her project of trying to pick them up, but yes--I think a lot of people would try to grab their things, just out of habit, and it would get them killed. Tara's a smart cookie.

Bud Haven

After watching your comments abut the episode, I recalled once again the idea that the show is great at giving you what, but never how you wanted it. lol

Ray D

I don’t like Riley so I get that. But what did Olivia do that you don’t like her? I don’t get it

The Value of Life

You didn't like Jenny?!?! BLASPHEMER!!! (At least on this channel.)

Whisper_dvm

I was thinking Domi needed a Pride Flag pillow or something that’s more easily grabbable and huggable in a seconds notice 😆

Steve Quast

In The Little Mermaid, the title character, Ariel, makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula, which involves Ursula taking Ariel's voice as part of the bargain.

The Value of Life

The gay subtext (is it still subtext if there are no words? Subimagery?) wasn't at all obvious to those of us watching it for the first time, not knowing where the story was going ahead of time. At least it wasn't to me. Tara putting her arms around Willow's waist when they were running was because Willow hurt her ankle when they first collided in the hallway. You see her grab her ankle when she goes down, then limping as they run toward the stairwell. As someone already mentioned, Tara doesn't seem to panic easily - in spite of the terror she should have been feeling she instantly noticed Willow was hurt and helped her run. The scene when they moved the vending machine just seemed like Willow awed by the power she had just experienced. Up till now she's only been able to float a pencil, suddenly this strange girl she's barely met grabs her hand and they're able to throw a vending machine across the room. I read her expression there as "Whoa...... what was that? And who *are* you?" Of course in hindsight, the subtext, er, subimagery, is obvious.

zerofk

Oh I completely forgot about that part of the story. Thanks!

Vicky N

Exactly. That’s what Joss Whedon is so good at. There’s a plausible logical explanation to the gesture, to the interaction, but the subtext reveals itself in retrospect or when you analyze it. Even when it’s not intentional. I think it’s on the record that Tillow was in large part the result of the the chemistry between the two actresses.

Ron Fehr

To me, Olivia seemed like a one-time replacement for Jenny.

Veronika

Hell yeeeeah! The new background is so beautiful, I love it (the Jenny & Giles poster is perfect)! Your pure joy and excitement over Tara & Tillow was everything <3 I was smiling at the screen the whole time :) this made my whole day! Thank you sooo much :*

GenU

Ha. Domi makes me laugh. She laments that she keeps forgetting to do the Angel disclaimer in her Buffy reactions so she announces she's going to post it as a banner along the bottom of the screen - and promptly forgets to do so. She also forgot to include the P.O. Box banner as well. I guess once Tara came on screen she forgot just about everything else.

Loves Bitca

I'm 99% sure that Tara was brought in with the intention of being Willows girlfriend. Rather than changed because of chemistry. Joss had planned almost from the start that either Willow or Xander would end up being gay. Hints were dropped throughout the seasons for both so it could be cashed in later.

Jeff V

I hope I don't get attacked too badly, because I'm just expressing my opinion, but I'm bothered by all the negative comments I read. I'm new to this, so maybe this is normal and I'm the one that's out of line. I too got pretty tired of hearing Domi's comments every time Olivia or Riley came on screen, and yes it did take away some of the enjoyment of watching this, *BUT* I also think she's entitled to her opinions whether I agree with her or not. No one's forcing me to watch these, and generally speaking, I really enjoy watching her reactions. If I'm wrong then so be it, but I wanted Domi to know that she has people on her side too. I'm sorry if this offends anyone.

Loves Bitca

Right there with you. I disagree with Domi's opinion of Olivia (Riley too, but Riley hate is pretty common) BUT I'm also fine with her sticking to her opinion.

Bri

Hi Jeff, I think looking at the comments about Domi's response to Olivia, they seem to be politely expressed thoughts or feelings. And those feelings were mainly annoyance or discomfort, or bewilderment. Not 'hate' as at least one commenter described it. I think everyone knows that Domi is very much entitled to her own thoughts and feelings (indeed, reactions!) to the show. I think what some commenters were hoping for was a little reflection, and i'm beyond sure that Domi is capable of that. However, I can also see that it might feel overwhelming to Domi to have a relatively negative response to her an element of her reaction and words. I definitely think it's worth all of us bearing in mind how brave it is for anyone to share their reactions and thoughts (about such complex and sensitive things often), and that when we respond negatively, we should remember how vulnerable the reactor has made themselves when we comment. I also hope Domi doesn't feel attacked or overwhelmed by these comments. Hopefully we're all fellow travellers trying to learn and grow as a fan community, giving each other the benefit of the doubt, and having these discussions in a gentle, supportive and respectful way.

Stewart Denew

Well this is the extended patreon version, I assume those will be present in the abbreviated youtube edit later on :)

TheMew

Strongest reaction to Olivia I've ever seen. Two years after Jenny and she knew him from England and they hooked up a couple times, no more no less.

Rey

You are entitled to disagree with her opinion as she is entitled to her opinion. People who find reactions less enjoyable because of certain things are also entitled to their opinion.

Steve Quast

Hey Jeff. I'm just now seeing your comment, but I just wanted to chime in and say I think we're on the same page. I greatly enjoy Domi's reactions, while some of her comments about Olivia were over-the-top, they didn't ruin the experience for me, although I can understand why some fans were put off by them. She's very passionate about what she does and doesn't like, and this is especially the case when it comes to ships. I feel like I'm used to it and, even when she states things in an over-the-top way, I don't think she means any harm. Overall she gives great reactions and I also appreciate that she's always hanging out with us in the comments. Not every reactor does that, especially not to the extent that she does. I noticed she hasn't responded to any of the comments for this reaction yet. I don't know if that's because a number of the comments have been critical or if it's just because she's taking classes again (I"m pretty sure she mentioned that at the beginning of the video), which can be pretty time consuming. Maybe it's both. I don't know. Either way, I hope she's doing well and I'm greatly looking forward to her future reactions. Domi, if you're reading this, you're the best! I hope you're doing well! *waves*

Jordan Haddow

Tara, Tara, Tara, yay. Plus other stuff, but mainly Tara. Finally. Loved how much you freaked out when you saw her. Such a different reaction experience, you knowing who she is before seeing her. Still, have to say it was good, just because you were so over the top excited. Still, it was apparent that you don't know all about her, so it will be quite interesting to watch you find out all her little secrets, if she does in fact have them. I haven't read many of the previous comments, but noticed that the Olivia and Giles thing has wrought a bit of negativity in the comments. My opinion on your reaction to her is, I get it. We all loved Jenny and the romantic teasing they did between her and Giles. Plus, Giles has been in our lives for three and half seasons. He's proven himself to be a better father to Buffy than her real father. So, it's not shocking that you would be protective over him. Now, suddenly, some woman shows up and is his orgasm friend (Thank you so much for that one Anya, such a gem). No slow intro, no romantic teasing, no Giles bumbling around shyly. Just some wham bam thank you Giles. So, I get it. You feel ripped off and also on edge for Giles. Those in the Buffyverse who suddenly appear, tend to more than not, be not so great of people. Kind of like Ford from Lie to Me. Anyways, I won't bother with the next episode. It seems fairly apparent how its going to start. I'm looking forward to seeing that and keep up the good work.

Sometimes, in rl and on tv.. people just piss you off 🤷‍♀️ Usually you can't even describe the feeling you get about someone but it's a negative one and in a show where a lot of newbies turn out bad I'm not surprised Domi feels that way about Olivia.. dgmw I don't feel that way about her but as someone who doesn't like Spike or Faith, I get it 🤣

Great to see your reaction to Tara. Definitely a Top 5 character for the series. 😊

I am VERY disappointed by this woman’s reaction to Olivia. It’s so irrational it comes across as based in something very ugly. Something so ugly it will warrant unsubscribing.
