Yes, everytime I hear "one of us" i see the opening credits before my inner eye. Somehow I connect this song with the show much stronger than any other song/show combo. I like the decision of the show that Joan doing what god wants does not magically fix her personal life. Helen is clearly worried about her, Grace is disappointed and Adam is really mad. Which make the decisions by Joan more meaningful because she has to pay a price for trusting god. To me this makes Joan feel like a real person that could exist (life is just too complicated sometimes). And finally, the teacher being the pay-off was really unexpected for me. I was so ready to fight with Joan against the injustice of the world. So that calm scene between Joan and him is just wholesome.

Hey Domi, you TOTALLY made my day when I saw this! I love JoA and had no idea you were reacting to it (thank you Anitusar for requesting it!). I just moved up to the next tier so that I can continue watching your JoA reactions. A question for you - or anyone else who knows the answer - are you planning to watch the entire series, or do you only do the next episode when it's requested? I joined Patreon to watch your Buffy reactions - which I absolutely love! Keep it up!

I told domi that I would request JoA until she tells me that she is not enjoying it anymore. So at least a few more episode will be coming (and so far domi seems to like where the show is going)
