Please read for an update on my March Schedule: Hey friends, so I've decided in March I'm gonna go back to my schedule of alternating in between 2 Buffyverse reactions one week, and 1 Buffyverse reaction the following week. This does not change things a lot (since it only means 2 less Buffyverse reactions a month) but I've already started falling behind on reactions, and it's stressing me out a lot so I'd rather slow down a bit. Hope you guys understand. Soooo excited to continue S5/S2! And yes of course Family will be posted this Friday since I would never make y'all wait for that AWESOME ep :)

Anyways about the ep... I know I shouldn't but Darla I love you. Faith, come back to me. And Kate, PLEASE STAY!!!!

Cordy never met Darla before she was dusted. Jesse, Willow, and Xander did, but Cordy never interacted with her.

It looks like you didn't even consider that Wlofram & Hart would bring Darla back as a human. I don't see how else they could control her. Vampire Darla had her own agenda, and I don't think she'd let anyone tell her what to do.

I love this episode. I never cared about Angel and Buffy and their high school, love at first sight type thing. It felt so shallow and overly melodramatic. I find the Angel/Darla relationship and history so much more rich, interesting, complex, and compelling. It feels like an adult relationship where Buffy felt like a teen one. I also think they have better chemistry. Their confrontation scene is brilliant.

Imagine being with someone for 100+ years, even if they were evil and now he's good. Must be like a missing part of himself suddenly front and center, plus all those memories that come with it. No wonder he's acting a bit off.

Now that I think about it, you are right too Angela luck. When Luke was on stage at The Bronze, it was Darla who who brought Cordy over to Luke just before Buffy interrupted them.

Darla is an amazing character played by an amazing actress. She is what a bad girl should be, she is confident and self assured without running around screaming you have to respect me because I am a bad girl. We need more female villains like her. Darla deserves are love. Dru is just a treasure, and Kate is an excellent example of a person trying to come to terms with discovering a world outside the laws of man she is meant to represent. Nothing wrong with loving characters that show us good writing and proper casting can make memorable characters we remember more than 20 years later. That being said, take your time getting these out if you need. We all love you and want you to enjoy this as much as we did the first time we saw them. Your health and happiness is just as important to us as is watching your reactions. Looking forward to your reaction to Family!!!
