**UPDATED LINK** Sorry, Patreon phone app has been glitching... Not the first time that it posts without the link when I use my phone. But this time it should work.

This was SO much fun. Exactly what I needed after all these hard epsiodes. ❤️❤️ Harmony is simply the best and oh Cordy, I’ve missed you.

PS: Been thinking of posting on weekends instead of Mondays… It’s when I’ve been recording anyways. Let me know your thoughts!!

Sundays are my days off so that is perfect for me ☺️

Many other reactors are only posting during the week, so weekend posts are awesome.

Any day with a Domi post is a good day, so it all works for me.

Shaun Houghton

A new Domi day, how will I cope? Fantastically.

One of my favorite episodes and very badly needed! I thought you were wrapping up an hour in, and then you said "OK I'm back with my notes" and it made me so happy :-) Angel does buy back Cordy's friendship, in a way, but he also *listened* to what Cordy said: "You didn't just betray me, Angel. You didn't just hurt me. You gave away my clothes." She articulated the damage he had done, and Angel made amends by replacing it! I have listened to the Spanish (LatAm) dub on my region 1 DVDs and they literally made up lines for Willow to say while Cordy is listening with an "oh shit" frozen smile on her face: "Yo tengo novia. Se llama Tara." (I have a girlfriend; her name is Tara). I think it kinda ruins the joke TBH! And obviously not canon or anything, just funny to me.

Another awesome Angel episode. A real funny one that was needed after a couple sadder episodes. Cordy is hilarious. Harmony is hilarious. Nothing negative to say about this one. The ending with Angel buying Cordy new clothes to patch up their friendship was real smart, he knows how to win Cordy over lol. (He did give her clothes away after all) I am glad they are showing Wesley still dealing with the aftermath of the gunshot wound, more realistic this way.

Mercedes mcbab is maybe the most underrated actor in the show. Her comic timing is perfection

Personally it doesn't matter to me what day you post. Whatever is best for you.

You are 100% correct that the math behind the pyramid scheme does not work. Since the vampires were only required to bring one person for the food bank, the number of people in the food bank would grow linearly while the number of vampires to feed would grow exponentially. But then, I suppose that's why it's a pyramid scheme haha

Ron Fehr

Cordy's confusion about Harmony was amusing. No idea at first that she actually was a vampire.

Steve Quast

"How are they going to beat more than 100 vampires?" Well, it starts with 95 vampires running away for no reason. I love this episode, love our team, but Angel Investigations should have been toast at this point.

Steve Quast

And yes, after the last three Buffy episodes, we needed an episode like this.

Koz

The Willow cameo is just a neat touch.

Stargazer1682

I mean, that's a pyramid scheme in a nutshell. The math NEVER works. The exponential growth for any of those MLM deals is unsustainable. Any of those things where it's like "if you recruit two and then they recruit two" - you get like, 13 cycles of that before you exceed the population of the planet.

Stargazer1682

Domi: When somebody offers you pizza, you don't eat them. Me: Depends on how good the pizza is... Also, phrasing.

Stargazer1682

This is yet another episode that undermines the premise that vampires aren't the same person they were as humans; and it's interesting they reference that here, only to essentially refute it. I mean, this IS Harmony. Granted, now a vampire, but still Harmony. Cordelia sees that; and it's why she let her go. It's a nice lie to convince yourself of when you need to be dispassionate and not let a murdous demon escape to potentially kill again; and objectively, Cordelia is at least partly responsible for anyone Harmony might kill after this episode. But we wouldn't be able to understand why she let her go if this wasn't really Harmony.

Stargazer1682

The math not working is probably intentional; that's how a quintessential pyramid scheme/MLM. The numbers never add up. They usually say something like, "all you need to do is recruit two people, and they each recruit two people" and so on, but after 13 cycles of that, you would exceed the population of the earth. Pyramid schemes don't work BECAUSE the numbers don't add up and aren't sustainable.

Stargazer1682

A couple of days ago, someone on Facebook posted a meme from season 4, from when Spike tried to attack Willow, before learning about the chip; and Willow says "I know I'm not the kind of girl vamps like to sink their teeth into." And I thought, wait a second - HARMONY thought Willow looked like a nummy treat.... 🤔

Stargazer1682

Could the cobra note be about the snake symbol on the robes; and you wondering if any of them could appear on Buffy?

Ron Fehr

If you sire two vampires but only bring one more person for food, how do you feed everyone anyway, unless two vamps share one person for a food source? Also, if everyone in the world eventually became vampires, how would they feed? Using animal blood, like Angel?

Ron Fehr

At least, in the end, Cordelia realized that Harmony could be a potential threat.

ghostofdurruti

I think it's plausible that one person might be enough to feed two vampires if they're careful, but the more cycles this goes through, the worse the ratio gets. On the next cycle, it's one more human for four more vampires, then one more human for eight more vampires, and so on. The vamps start running out of food (assuming they're feeding primarily from the food bank, at least--and if they're not, why even be a part of this scheme in the first place?) long before they come close to even being a significant fraction of the human population.

ghostofdurruti

Hey, these vamps aren't the best and brightest of the vamp population! They're the ones who fell for Doug's dumb pyramid scheme, after all. :D

Who's up for a silly thought? I like that sweater. Whenever you wear it, I find myself imagining that it is a Hogwarts sweater and that the 4 colors represent the 4 houses.
