So sorry this is late, but I totally forgot to schedule this post (LOL) and then got distracted filming my Season 5 Wrap Up (LOL x2), but I'm here now!!! Hope you guys enjoy discussing this season with me cause it's a great one :)

I just want to say that I'm sorry for having to make you think about Buffy's death. Also, I just want you to know that I watched the entire video.

1: 22, The Gift (perfect 100th episode & would've been an amazing series finale. The sunrise shot... and the score...) 2: 7, Fool for Love (love the backstory and how it ties in with Darla. Last 15min are soo good) 3: 16, The Body (legitimately best episode to this point, just don't make me rewatch it) ... 20: 9, Listening to Fear (Riley doin' Riley things, and fuck no to that outer-space monster) 21: 4, Out of My Mind (Perfect time for Riley to leave and we didn't take it) 22: 10, Into the Woods (Should've been earlier + meh) In terms of favorite characters, I think I also have Buffy, Willow, Tara, Dawn

Although I am definitely not part of the LGTBQ community, I find myself ranking Family high up among my favorite episodes.

I looked at the episode rankings i have on my spreadsheet (YES I HAVE A SPREADSHEET) to see my favorite and least favorite - and I would say my top 3 are The Gift, The Body, and Fool For Love... bottom 3 were Shadow, Listening to Fear and Triangle. But then I decided to do one of your tricks and use the Bias Sorter to come up with a ranking. which told me that my top 3 were right but I actually liked Triangle more than I thought. My bottom 3 should be Into the Woods, Listening to Fear, and Shadow.

I hate Buffy vs Dracula. To me, it's not just the least favourite episode of the season but one of the least favourite of the whole show. My top 3 would be (in reverse chronological order) The Body, I Was Made to Love You, Checkpoint, Family. Okay that's 4, but it's my list and my rules. "You guys are sadists" - Alley should've warned you.

Triangle was too funny to be in the bottom three. It told us more about Anya, and that's a plus in my book.

Least fave : Buffy vs Dracula, Listening to fear, Into the woods Fave : there are two holy trifectas in this season which are No place like home, Family and Fool for love and then Spiral, The weight of the world and The Gift. Depending on my mood I'll choose either one of them lol.(so yes that's 6 fave episodes 😈😈)

It's interesting that quite a few people have commented on Buffy vs Dracula being their least favorite episode. My guess is that it's also their least favorite season opener. Well, there are a lot of great episodes to compare it to. I just hope it didn't cloud anyone's judgment.

I loved parts of the Buffy vs Dracula episode but I always thought of it as a way to intro Dawn, though she doesn't pop up until the end. I just enjoy the way that there is no hint, no foreshadowing, she's just there...until you finally put together the hints from both season 3 and 4. Brilliant. Anyway, I wouldn't say it's my least fave; I'll leave that to the Riley episodes. I actually liked Riley in season 4 and the way they turned him into a whiny passive-aggressive insecure bitch this season is not something I like to relive. Also, I definitely agree with your character rankings and I don't think Dawn was too high. I absolutely love Dawn so much now that it's hard to remember I found her annoying the first couple of episodes. Now I really enjoy rewatching her intro episodes. Seeing the Scooby Gang through her eyes is just fun.

I like to watch Buffy vs Dracula through the lens of the references back to Restless. And the omg end, of course

Strong disagree with The Gift being a bad season finale. I feel like The Gift would have been an amazing series finale. Buffy being the ultimate hero and sacrificing herself, finally getting to rest after knowing that she saved the world would have been an incredibly poetic note to leave the series on. I like it better than what they do in the actual finale personally.
