Remember, both times that Darla was turned, she was dying of Syphilis.

I don’t know why but I find it hilarious that you talked about Conner getting “thrown” into a hell dimension and returning to hate Angel because of that but yet totally seem to have blocked out Holtz’s involvement in all of that happening. Lol Also, I like Angel and Cordy together much better than Angel and Buffy. Angel and Buffy was soooooo high school first love, love at first sight, and over the top melodramatic. They were “in love” before they even knew each other. But Angel and cordy’s feelings grew much more organically and realistically to me and just feel so much more real

A small reminder. Darla also showed up at the end of the second episode, trying to get rid of the baby. And when that didn't work, it was "time to visit Daddy. "

Wesley told Angel not to scream at Fred bc last episode he himself hunted her down while spewing vile misogynistic stuff at her and he kinda feels awful about it lolol 😅

The best way to recognize Holtz is by his voice, not his face tbh

Great reaction as always! To answer a couple of questions, 1) Cordy felt betrayed because Angel flat-out lied to her. Several episodes back she was telling him how worried she was that he might have gone dark and slept with Darla. Although this conversation happened after he and Darla had sex, he told Cordy, “You know I would never do that.” In this episode, Cordy says to him, “Did you or did you not tell me that you would never sleep with Darla.” It’s all about the lie, not the action itself. 2) Also, Angel going off on his own is different this time because it was a very personal matter. He was going to kill the woman who was carrying his one and only child. (As Fred said, a child is something he will never have again.) At least that’s my take on it!

Umm, okay, sure. I'm sure there's a reason.

About your comment on why Angel was able to keep his cool when finding out about the baby, I feel that probably the Angelus part of him would have, but Angel had already spent decades suppressing it. With so much time doing so, Angel was able to remain somewhat calmer. (I hope what I said makes sense)

I didn't see your background light flashing earlier in the video, but that may have been because that part of the screen was covered due to the Angel episode inserted there.

Here's an amazing coincidence. The gang brought Darla to Caritas, and at one point she started singing Danny Boy so that Lorne could read her. And now you just posted The Trial on YouTube, where Angel takes her to Caritas and she starts singing. Intentional?
