Personally I prefer downloading the video so I can use my own video player. But I'm just one voice of course. That part with Cordelia as a famous actress is a lot of fun. I think they don't all move into the hotel because Angel snores so loudly you can hear it throughout the building. Fred doesn't care because she's used to monstrous sounds from living in a cave in Pylea.

It‘s the same for me - I also prefer downloading the videos and use the video player of my choice. And that doesn‘t seem to be possible with Patreon.

Yeah, streaming usually doesn't work for me (often crappy Internet at home and when traveling). So if I can't download I basically can't watch it. (Also it seems that Patreon go out of their way to make it difficult to download - the usual very easy tricks for downloading an embedded video don't work.) Further edit: If changing formats/hosts like this I think it would be best to do it at the end of the month rather than the beginning, that way if it doesn't work for some people at least they haven't paid for a whole month that they can't use.

Really fun episode. This is the halfway point of Angel (episode 55 of 110). The demon Skip was the guy that was holding Billy in his fire prison in the episode “that vision thing” earlier in the season. Angel fights skip so that he can bust Billy out of the prison for wolfram and hart in order to save Cordy, who was being given fake visions by wolfram and hart so that they could blackmail Angel into freeing him. Angel and Skip have some funny banter before he fight though

You beat me to it. I was just thinking about explaining where Domi would recognize Skip from.

Thanks, I always download. I like to use Gom Player which is so much easier to use.

FWIW the reaction can still be downloaded. Just takes a bit more effort to grab the m3u8 link. The issue for me is it’s not streamable. With certain setups patreon vids only play audio (and Google drive won’t allow full screen).

I seem to recall a special feature on my Angel dvd, in which there was a short episode of Cordy! Sadly I no longer have the dvd.

Another vote for Dropbox, because it's more flexible. Streaming on Patreon traps me in the app, and an incoming text or email can interrupt the video.

I have some trouble with the patreon video player, at least in chrome. Worked better now than last few times I tried, but still starts to frequently stutter after a while. Works fine in firefox though. I usually download. But no big deal, if its easier / a lot cheaper

Just occurred to me - watching that first scene - Cordelia would probably have done well as an influencer or similar if she'd grown up later in the YouTube age.
