I’d consider this episode one of the all time Buffyverse Classics and one of the best episodes of Angel. Just really well written by Joss and fun but with a sad undertone at times. Also I’m team Cordellia/Angel > Buffy/Angel.

I love Cordy sleeping through the performance. While I would have to be dragged to any ballet performance, once there, I would hope that I could sleep as well as she did.

Thanks for that deleted scene at the end. I have never seen it before. That should have totally made the final cut of the episode. Didn't know Amy Acker was a dancer.

I didn't know Alexis was a dancer - I was right.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm glad that there weren't many scenes of the actual ballet. To me, it just isn't real. People don't go around dancing like that in real life. Which begs me to say I don't care for Gunn's sudden turnaround about how he felt about ballet. Also, I prefer him as a loner. I prefer him that way, as opposed to pairing him with Fred. I realize that my comments are complaints, but apart from them, I enjoyed the episode.

The decision to cut that scene was because they didn't feel right about having Wes revert to being a clumsy oaf again, even if it was just in the imagination.

I don't think it's suggested Angel and Cordy actually had sex while possessed in this episode. The scene sets it up to deliberately have them get interrupted before that happens. Also, Gru and Cordy always felt like Oz and Willow to me. It's cute, I like both sets of characters and they are cute together... but they are clearly not who they are ultimately meant to be with.

I guess I was so in favor of a Wes/Fred relationship that I could never get behind one with Gunn instead.
