It looks like Connor doesn't completely know vampire lore, since he thinks that Holtz might rise again, even though we (and Justine) know he won't. Unless he assumes that Holtz also fed off Angel, which is the only way it could happen.

I like to think that Groo has learned at least enough to cope with the differences of this world compared to Pylea. And I also like to think that he'll eventually get over Cordelia. She was his first love, after all. He's young enough to find another girl.

Turning Holtz is something I could see Angelus doing but not Angel. Angel would simply kill Holtz, Angelus would want to make Holtz suffer more by turning him into the same kind of monster that killed his family.

Knowing how much Holtz hated what Angelus was though. I don't see how he would voluntarily become a vampire. I feel that he would rather die.

I'm not saying Holtz would volunteer to become a vampire. I'm saying Angelus wouldn't give Holtz the option. He would just do it to inflict even more pain on him. That's how Angelus and Angel are different.

And it just occurred to me that Holtz would probably be too weak to resist Angelus making him drink his blood. You're right. That's how Angelus and Angel are different.
