Ohhh am I first?

Hey Domi, have you been checking out Miss Alyson Hannigan on Dancing with the Stars? She has been doing quite well and is still very much alive in the competition, she had zero dance experience going into it, and now she’s really holding her own.

Richard Ashton

Azura Skye is always great with off-beat characters.

Lime Pie

The gang might not have been too attentive to Dawn when she first pitched her theory, but Buffy did follow up on it and talked to Cass's boyfriend eventually. Dawn is still a kid and won't be spot on 100% of the time. Fun facts: This episode apparently introduced the term "googled" as a verb. Also, Cassie's dad is played by Glenn Morshower, who plays Aaron Pierce in 24.

Regarding your livestream with Lexi, I'll be in church Sunday morning, so I will probably miss it. If it shows up with other recommended content, I'll definitely give it a look later in the day.

Willow mentioned a "Doogie Howser fan fic." Guess who played Doogie Howser. Neil Patrick Harris. Guess who co-starred with Alyson Hannigan on How I Met Your Mother. Neil Patrick Harris.

When I realized that you were going to be watching this episode, I had pretty much the same thought that you did. The sacrifice scene definitely was a callback to Reptile Boy.

Hosman

That's what I thought too. This is a way better episode overall though and improves a lot on Reptile Boy.

I really like this episode. Although unspoken, the message is clear: "What do you do when you know that, sometimes, you cannot help?" You try anyway. In Buffy's case: you show up for work the next day and try to help the next troubled student. And Azura Skye is great in this.

There's a callback to Willow's Jewish upbringing I notice, when she puts visitation stones on Tara's grave.

Alex Wright

I saw a clip with Alison Hannigan in, not sure if there's anywhere to watch the rest of it outside the United States.

Ron Fehr

Although Domi didn't like it, I can't think of who else Willow would be visiting at the cemetery. And this scene was needed, because Willow never really dealt with Tara's death until then.

Ron Fehr

So, is Buffy Dawn's sister or is Dawn Buffy's sister?

Ron Fehr

Compared to Flutie and Snyder, principal Wood is the most normal of the three.

Thom Purdy

Domi, when you said "Alexa, play "Help" by the Beatles, my Kindle, sitting near by, charging, started playing the song. That was weird...and kinda cool.

Girl4Music

Too bad it didn’t last longer so we could actually see it but I guess it was too much of a private moment.

Girl4Music

Yo… she’s in ‘Dancing With The Stars’? I gotta see that!

Keenan White

Yep, she dedicated her dance from this past week to her husband Alexis, aka Wesley for their anniversary which they recently celebrated, and it was her best dance so far.

Ron Fehr

Sadly, we couldn't hear it on the video itself. In my case, I wasn't too upset, because I knew the song.

Hosman

I thought I remembered it being slightly longer, but I guess not.

If you need to ease up fine. You need to react to episodes at a slower pace, also fine. Don't try and pretend it's a win/win with bts content. Some of us don't care for that, which just makes it a loss.

Girl4Music

Her power is claircognizance. I have it too. I relate a lot to this episode and this character

Girl4Music

You said something that’s going to be important but never realized it. Sometimes your predications are spot on but you never actually intend for them to be predictions. You just say them.

Just Jayy1

How did Dawn fit into the child’s coffin? She’s clearly taller than everyone else 😆 As for the episodes msg when you cannot help, you try anyways, you get up put your hat on and go to work.

Loves Bitca

I get that Domi didn't like the emotional turmoil it hit her with, but it would have been worse to never have any further comment on Willow dealing with Tara's death. It would have been a bit insulting to NOT have Willow visit Tara's grave.

Loves Bitca

Cassie, based on the Greek myth of Cassandra, who saw the future, but was unable to change it.

Ron Fehr

I'm betting that's why the writer chose that name.

I was a bit doubtful that there was any extra bonus material to react to, but @VicFrost from Youtube just put up a 2 hour video for only seasons 1-2 that her mods had given her to watch, so there might be quite a bit. It's been so long since I watched the DVDs to remember what deleted scenes or gag reels might be available. I do know there are episodes with commentary, which maybe that could be used as well. So maybe there will be enough for the added materials. Personally, I'd rather just push through the show, but you have your process which I respect.
