Heya guys!

I created an invisible bassinet / Crib / Moses basket compatible with the latest update from The Sims 4 (PC: 1.96.365.1030 / Mac: 1.96.365.1230) and with Growing Together EP.

How does it work?

This file overrides the 2 base game bassinets from The Sims 4 so you can use any other decorative CC bassinet like the one in my Boho Baby CC Pack (Download it here).

If you find any issue please let me know.

NOTES:

  • As far as I know, this mod is not compatible with custom baby skins, if you have other information or solution, please let me know :)

Does it work with cribs that are not footprint-less? Can you actually have more than one infant in the same crib and it functions? Thank you for the mod.

Yes, this mod is for cribs without footprint. It depends on the design of the crib, but if there is enough space between them it is possible to have 2 newborns in one crib :D

Does it work with supernatural babyes?) Like vampires or werewolfes? ty)

fen

does this work with the new growing together pack?

Hi Konat, I haven't test it with supernatural babies, I will do it as soon as possible :)

why is it only working on 1 newborn sim? my sim last night had twins and it only worker for 1 of them. How do i fix this?

Jwingrider

Curious... Would you perhaps be willing to make one that only overrides the original, rock-a-bye bassinet but leaves the newer wicker one alone? I actually kind of like that one and wouldn't mind being able to continue to have it in game :)

Thank you, I submitted a new version of this mod with your suggestion to CF, in a couple of days is going to be available to download. :)

Hi! I am having an issue with this mod. My sims are acting like they can't reach the baby when they are in a decorative bassinet with the invisible bassinet mod. I can delete the decorative bassinet or move it away from the baby and the sims can reach the baby just fine. Any idea what could be causing this?

Hi Alyssa, thank you for your report. Is this happening with my decorative bassinets?

I just playtested and no. It is not happening with your decorative bassinets. For other CC bassinets, is there a way I can fix this issue or is that up to the CC creator?

Yes, its pretty simple. Open the package using Sims 4 Studio > Go to the Warehouse tab > Find the Footprint option > Scroll down > Change the current numbers to 0 in the categories "Instance" and "Type". :)

hello! unfortunately after the last patch does not work anymore. It does not allow me to reach the newborn.

Hey, I've got it working just fine for me, maybe you've got another mod making conflicts. :)

When I place the baby in a different crib with the invisible mod the baby is floating and not laying on the mattress and Im doing something incorrect?
