I conceived this with a specific arrangement in mind, but then realized the opposite arrangement would also work with very minor tweaking. So I'll leave it to you which you prefer.

We've seen both of these situations happen before, so canonically (such as a canon exists) either is possible. A sequel is possible with everyone naked; the initial comic won't get that far.
