Bonus: Danpilled V (with Matthew Perpetua and Carrie Courogen, from Fluxpod) (Patreon)

For the fifth installment in a continuing Steely Dan series between Junk Filter and Fluxpod, Matthew Perpetua invited New York-based writer and editor Carrie Courogen to join us to discuss the band’s current tour, the recent controversy over Aimee Mann being replaced as an opening act, an unearthed Joni Mitchell cover from The Boys, and some of Carrie’s favourite Dan songs.

We discuss Rikki Don’t Lose That Number, Glamour Profession, Brooklyn (Owes The Charmer Under Me), Fire in the Hole, My Old School, The Boston Rag, Green Earrings and Deacon Blues.

My thanks to Matthew for making this episode available to Junk Filter patrons. Subscribe to Fluxpod!
