By definition... the dark side relies on emotion... if she's dumb... that means she cannot make use of logic, therefore must rely on emotion and intuition... If anything, she's tailored fit for the dark side....

Yoda and Obi-Wan spend a whole trilogy telling Luke to trust his feeling and reach out with his feelings. When Luke fails to lift the X-Wing, Yoda literally says that he failed because he didn't believe hard enough.
