Who do you think Harry should let govern Volantis when he's not there?

Comments

LETSGOO

Tyrion or missandei. More likely tyrion

Omnihax

I'd find a way to get Tyrion as governor and let him shine

Erroden

Missandei would definitely be the best option but Tyrion because I want to see more of Missandei

Potato-sama

Melissandre, if he leaves missandei than Cersei woukd belittle her, Danny is too youn and naive right now so best option would be Melissandre or Missandei but he would need to let Cersei know of her positio for the latter candidate.

Angeldoctor

I would say Missandei but that would mean she couldn't go with him. So maybe he offers Missandei the chance to rule when he's not there and doesn't need her and Tyrion when she needs to go with him for whatever reason. Sort of like the King's Hand. He rules when the King is at war unless the Hand himself takes part of the war in which another member of the Small Council rules King's Landing in their place.

Having him name high lords / lords paramount like Westeros would be his penultimate goal right? Id have him offer it to missendi, giving her a last name and and volantis being her childerns inheritance. What better way for Harry to ensure her continued loyalty and odds her any kid she has will be Harry’s so that gives The kid who inherits Harry’s throne a staunch ally

Tyrion or Missandei

Missandei is going to bee needed in the Capital for when Harry isn't there if Tyrion doesn't take care of the capitol. If he can lure Kevan Lannister away or his father Jaime I would say one of them. Jaime would be infinitely more likely, what with Joffery beating his mother and the two good kids he had via Cersei in Essos.

Knight

The largest Temple of the Lord of Light is in Volantis if I am remaining that right so maybe Harry could meet Kinvara and use her and as she is a high-ranking leaders in the faith of R'hllor she can use the followers of the faith to improve the city in Harry image

Hadrian v.E.

Missandei is the top choice, given all the information available right now. She's capable, absolutely loyal to Harold, and isn't power-hungry. To make her position more solid, Harold should make a public announcement that she has his full support to govern in via his authority. As for any detractors, remind them that he's the power that made the land flourish and the ultimate authority; they have no say in the make-up of his administration. I definitely do not endorse Melisandre because while she's now loyal to Harold, she's still a religious fanatic and will probably try to turn his domains into theocracies if let off the leash, rationalising the action as something that he somehow would've wanted. And regarding potential governor candidates, why did you let Cersei be in charge of Daenerys' noble education? I certainly don't want to see her be turned into a spoiled brat thinking she can backstab Harold.

Home of the Brave

Tyrion, final answer. Very smart, cunning and loyal. Getting him away from Tywin is a plus. Just give him a few special drones and Unsullied to watch his back then let him loose on the city.

Tyrion or Missandei

Would be interesting to see what would happen if Cersei was given control of Volantis....But have a backup plan with someone watching her.... "Aunt, you've always wanted to rule and have real power just like a man does, and that you would do a better job...Well here is your chance to prove it. I'll send someone to advise you on topics unfamilar to you, but if you slip up and run the place into the ground like Joffery has King's Landing or try to aide him without my approval than that power can be taken away just as easily. Or something like this. She's not at that unhindged point in her life after all her children died one after the other. So it would be interesting how non-crazy, if overly-arrogant, Cersei could handle the challenge in an either sink or swim situation. As well as having to prove her claims of being able to do as she always said she could if she were in charge of land.

Honestly, as long as Harry does the smart thing and makes sure to seal the vassalage via a magical contract to ensure loyalty, that they execute the office to the best of their abilities and to prevent corruption I don't think it truly matters as long as they are capable enough to not get deposed.

Cmols897

Tyrion or like someone else said to have cersei with someone watching her

One of the Martells

Ichigo Uzumaki

He is recognized as Azor Ahai so he should have the Red Priests control it as the "Holy City" of R'hllor, the Lord of Light.

TangledHeat

My opinion is either Missandei or Cersei

Sean

Cersei

Akleden

Missandei

Let Tyrion in charge for a bit. If he proves worthy then help him out more in upgrading the city. This way we also keep Harry's girls near him.

Melisandre or Tyrion

CC100

have it be a triumvirate of Missandei, Cersei and Melisandre - so they all fight with each other

Braeden Hooper

I’d say go for Tyrion just to use the character in a more useful role

The 3 B's

Daenerys it would be a great way for character growth and it is so out there due to her inexperience that anything could happen for good or bad

Randal Durham

Tyrion. If only for his cunning and guile.

Zack

Tyrion is a good steward like his father. He sucks at war, but if it just governing, then he should be able to excel.
