The second in a series of polls about the direction of the game. This time, it will be what people want to see where the game develops. The game has for most of the time I've been developing it, acted as one large sandbox. I think this does lend freedom for the playerbase and me as the author, but a lot of it suffers from nuanced development. I wanted to see how people wanted the game to expand.
- Phaera's Education: The game would concentrate more on Phaera learning HOW to be an Ooze Wizard depending on who her Teacher is. This would take the form of more content similar to the Prologues where the Teacher would control what the player would do for the day, but there would be a more stable narrative and developments would be able to be set up easier.
- Phaera's Jobs: The game would build more on the Jobs that Phaera performs throughout the game and narrate stories through those set ups. This would be set up as events within the jobs themselves and offer the player more freedom to explore the world at their own pace. Open ended is probably what I would consider this approach.
- Phaera's Relationships: The game would be more focused on Phaera's interpersonal relationships with the cast as a whole. This could take the form of hanging out/dating/having sex with various members. The characters would be more prevalent in Phaera's life and random events might present themselves every so often. This is a more chaotic approach matching Phaera's turbulent life.
- Phaera's Quests: The game would be stylized to be more about the adventures that Phaera goes on and the puzzles/combats therein. Joining an adventurer's guild, Phaera would have a structured path of advancement that could be presented to the players to go at their own pace and advance the overall story through her conquests. This would of course expand existing systems like the physical combat, but also social combat that will inevitably find its way into the game.
- Sandbox: The game relies on the Sandbox as a whole and the toys that go inside of it. There wouldn't be much rhyme or reason, just more random chaos throughout the game world that the players would get to react to.
