A new maintenance build of EVE is now available: Beta 2.2.12.This update focuses mainly on security improvements, stability tweaks, and a few small quality-of-life upgrades—but it is essential for what’s coming next.

I’ll be releasing new expansion asset packs very soon, and Beta 2.2.12 is required to load them correctly. Older versions of the game will not be able to read the upcoming assets, while this build remains fully compatible with both previous and future packs.

What’s new:

Updated character skin shader for cleaner results and improved shading under hairstyles.

More natural head-tracking behavior for increased realism.

Added the ability to quit the game directly from the VR menu for convenience.

General security and stability fixes.

Installation tip:Make a backup of your current My Library folder, then overwrite everything with the files inside the new ZIP.

📌 Note for New Users

If you're downloading the game for the first time using the new distribution format, remember to grab the Starter Pack as well.It contains the base assets previously included by default and is required for a complete setup.

Users updating from older versions do not need to download the Starter Pack, as they already have the necessary assets.

Beta 3 is on the horizon, but in the meantime this update ensures smooth compatibility with all upcoming content.Thank you for your support!

Hello, I have installed the game and it launches without problem. However, when I go into vr, I can't do anything but look around. I can't move my viewpoint, or the props. I am using a Vive Focus Vision headset. Any suggestions?
