I'm a little behind right now. Several things came up this weekend that threw me into a bit of a tailspin and took up a lot of time. Still, as the poem goes, I have promises to keep (and miles to go before I sleep XD). I'm continuing to work through playtesting the new expressions, and I do think I'll get done in time. Updating the trailers is the only thing I'm not sure about, and I can do that over the weekend if I have to.

If nothing else, I think the Sindarion rework was quite successful. If I have time, I might do a $10 post about something I've been thinking about later this week, or maybe over the weekend. I do also plan to make an optional patch that anyone who really prefers Ligaea's old art can apply. For myself, I think the new one is a significant improvement, but this is something I can code easily and it might have applications in the future as a technique, so no harm in doing this.

Anyway, this is the last piece of new art. I've been saving it until it was complete with the logo and everything. I'm extremely happy with how it came out overall, myself:

Holy hell, that cover is a gods-damned banger.

Don't mean to be a debby downer, but the cover feels a bit ... weird ... to me. It looks quite busy, visually, when its best imo when covers are visually easy to read. Did you use the same artist you use for the Character Portraits?

Lord Forte Games

I appreciate the honest opinion, but in this case I disagree. Though, the artist pretty faithfully rendered what I requested, so I would say we probably just have different visions here. That said, I may mess with the choices a bit and see if I can make them a little easier to read on the actual in-game title screen. No, there are three different ones. I may potentially have the artist who did Alexander's do a take on Ligaea's in the future. The one who did the cover screen was separate from either of the portrait artists. She has a much more painterly/semi-realistic style, and I would say is significantly more skilled. I'll be posting a link to all of their pages when I post the public release.
