Weekly Update (12-2-2024) (Patreon)

Progress continues apace. The week was tiring, as was the holiday (hope everyone who celebrates enjoyed, though), but I still god a decent amount done. I have little regard for National Novel Writing Month (especially after the recent crap involving AI; but in general, I'm a person who would always say quality >>>> speed), but it does amuse me that even during a slower cycle that has been beset with a lot of IRL crap that I don't want to get into too much, I basically met the challenge (at about 42k words now after shifting into writing mode in early november).

Anyway, as I've noted, this cycle will probably go a bit long; right now, I would estimate around the last week of december or the first week of january, but that's just a rough estimate, I can't promise it might not be a week or so longer. Beyond finishing the writing, there's always combat and playtesting to do, which I prefer to leave a good amount of time for where possible. Either way, it shouldn't be -too- far off the usual schedule.

In other news, Mimo's tablet ended up being unrecoverable, but she should have a new one soon since I was able to help cover what she needed for that with an advance toward ongoing commissions, so that's a delay but not a long-term problem at least.

Otherwise, going to get back to work for now. I am fairly deep into the writing, so hopefully can push through all the IRL crap with momentum for the rest of the writing, haha.
